Is anyone else bothered by the lack of incentive for mediocre players to improve?

I have no way to know whether the Bard in i90 gear obtained it from whacking a loot pinata, or actually worked for it, without wasting time bringing them to Twintania.
Even then, in order to bring them to Twintania, I have to wait for them to clear Turn 1 to 4 with some random group. After that, it wastes my entire group's time if they suck, instead of just mine.

heres an idea for you and your kind you know the ones parser perfectionist hero harassing type start a big fc and run all your hero content and etc together and then you won't have anything to complain about!!! and you can stay right a way from communicating with the so called BAD PLAYERS in fact i think they will welcome it!!!

I really wonder why people bitch here. I mean, you tell people to go watch a video 1st, then you make party finder with comments such as "No noob please/Exp-previous kills only/One fail = kick." Then you guys wonder why no one has a decent level or decent skills? lol

Isn't it hilarous?

There's a difference. I don't mind helping people learn the encounter if it's a party/duty finder, but if they die to the same thing five consecutive times without improvement and show that they have no idea what they're doing beyond following orders, there is a serious problem.
When I'm recruiting for my BC group, I expect only the most skilled players (which, currently, I have no way to even guess who is and isn't), because we're a top group. But that's not the same as what I expect from party/duty finder.

For example, when we first entered Bahamut's Coil in September, I had to kick a tank after almost an hour of wiping to ADS. Why? He could only do one thing at a time. If he took ADS at 3 stacks, he couldn't silence High Voltage. If he was silencing High Voltage, he couldn't take ADS off the other tank. He only had a capacity for focusing on one thing and one thing alone. For other encounters, if anything deviated from the strategy, he just sort of stopped functioning. This is the type of player that needs to improve, but the game doesn't give them enough incentive.

Unless you already have a group with 8 players that never make mistakes, you would then be desperate because it is impossible to find competent people as good as you to make a group able to survive that fight. Then you would win once in a lifetime and wouldn't care to repeat, if it is hard enough and has cost you enough time and effort.
Making content that just a handful of people can win, and only if they manage to group with each other, doesn't make a lot of sense, unless it is just one fight out of the main story and does not need a lot of effort from the developers to create.
Look what problems Titan HM produces for most people: The hard part (for the best skilled players too) is mostly find a group in which a high enough number of members don't make too many mistakes for the last of the fight.
