If you thought it was reasonable to expect people to understand their skills you'd never pull small outside of those extreme circumstances (horribly undergeared, super early dungeon where people don't have AoE, etc.) because all it takes for a full pull to be successful is an understanding of your kit and an internet connection.

First, if you knew about macros then why act like a PS4 controller is a valid excuse to not communicate simple requests to your group? Do you say stuff that makes you sound completely oblivious about this game for fun, or are you just bluffing?

Second, it doesn't matter how well the tank or anyone else understands their skills if the healer is bad. Bad healer = wipe. I'll trust friends of mine; I'll trust guild members; I even trust trusts (pun), but I'm not going to assume PuGs are competent; they need to show me or tell me something if I'm going to have any confidence in them.

I'll repeat, communicating isn't that hard. If you want big pulls ask for them; otherwise I assume you're just going to get everyone killed if I pull wall to wall.

Also, single pulls are valid in that people do them and they're allowed; try reporting someone for single pulling in a dungeon and see what happens. So, if single pulls are something you can't stomach it's on you to say something.

Idk maybe one of these days I will try larger pulls as min ilvl, just personally especially as a DRK during large pulls healers are not as much of as factor in the success of the pulls unless the dps is so low I go through all my cool downs and the mobs are not dead due to ST heroes. If the dps is on point even a crappy healer with proper cool down management will not enough time to let the tank die most of the time.

This my personal take though for me the dps are the xfactor in larger pulls. Yes a good healer and good tank can carry two bad dps through a larger pull but if the dps take so long to down the pack at that point it begs the question why the blue blazes are the dps still in the group.

This community basically responded to that request with condescension and passive aggressive nonsense, so yea, now we're playing a little game where I don't feel like I need to be nice to any of you. If you can't understand why people responded the way they did then I don't know what to tell you other than go back and reread what you posted, and reflect on how they would be deemed underhanded and condescending. You don't get to play the moral highground here.

And hell, I've been upfront about my perspective towards your antics since the beginning. They're childish and immature.

i found large pulling to be stresssful because of auto bots type playstyles. as in.. ppl so jaded by their level they run on auto pilot and assume all tanks can handle things. I actually made a macro to turn off regen mid pull. it makes no sense to regen before pull

mmo require communication. not assumptions.

At what point did I try to claim the moral high ground? I've been just as condescending as you all have, and I've admitted it. I don't really mind you all being like this, just don't try to act innocent when I do it back.

This community doesn't like small pulls, and doesn't like asking for big pulls. So, good for you; continue refusing to simply ask and just get mad when they happen. Vote kick the tank; do whatever. I didn't really think this conversation was going to turn you all into decent people; this is just something to do at this point. It's interesting coming here and seeing what you all come up with; the reasons why asking is unfair, not feasible (PS4 controller, lol), Tanks should just stop sucking... All really constructive responses. I have no idea why anyone would ever get condescending with you people, you're all so awesome.
