hello :) what do i need to get a full white color?

question guys :

Example if you need 8 procs for berries but only 5 out of the 8 proc do i need to feed 3 more just to get 8 procs?

This RGB System is confusing me lol, I'm currently at Royal Blue, and i'm trying to get to Soot Black, what would i need!?
any help would be great or a dumbed down version of the mixer chart :D

I've seen you in multiple threads asking for help. Please realize that if you don't get a response it's not that no one wants to help you but unfortunately the individuals providing assistance can't personally help every single person. This goes the same for anyone asking for help. :(

That being said I'll give it a shot.

Starting Colour: Wine Red
62R 17G 14B

Desired Colour: Soot Black
37R 35G 30B

Try feeding the following combo:

x3 Plum
x1 Pear
x1 Berries

This should result in an RGB of around 37R 32G 29B (assuming +/-5 average integer and using the original RGB spreadsheet) and should push you into the darker colour range; not sure that it will get you spot on Soot Black so you might need additional tweaking afterwards.

I am going for Ash Grey or as close to a silver as I can get. So far I've come up with Rose Pink.

So if anyone is going for pink and looking for help, I got Rose Pink from: 5 O'Ghomoro Berries and 2 Valfruits.

Just did this using the same number of so and so grows new feathers and ended up with Snow White. Any idea how to get back to the lotus pink because I really want that color?

Ok, so last night was at midnight blue and wanted to get to ink blue.

Added two pineapples as suggested and proven and got nothing, no change even with procs.

Today I added 1 more pineapple and now it's grape purple. To be honest, I'm sick of this, any suggestions are welcome at this time. How to get to ink blue, darken all across once? Twice?

I got Lotus Pink from Snow White by feeding one Valfruit. :)

I am bout to get blood red.

I should have fed it all apples every transformations until it says growing feathers and stop, but first 2, I didn't know better and my chocobo got 1 berry in each of the first 2 transformations. Is my green off because of it or is it ok to leave it at that? Don't want to arrive up there at midnight blue/ink blue/kobolt brown and be screwed because I ate 2 berries too early.

I meant 2 of each type of fruit. I imagine you'll get feather procs on some or all of the feedings since there are so many colors in the nearby ranges.

I'm not kidding when I say if you're on Grape Purple that's like a hop, skip and a jump away from Ink Blue.

Starting Colour: Grape Purple
52R 36G 54B

Desired Colour: Ink Blue
22R 26G 34B

Try the following Darkener Combo:

x5 Pear
x4 Berries
x3 Apple

This combo should result in an RGB of around 22R 26G 34B (assuming +/-5 average integer and using the original RGB spreadsheet) and should put you in the Ink Blue colour range. Remember your mileage may vary.

P.S: Don't hate me if you don't get Ink Blue my brain is getting tired of calculating colour combos. @_@

From Kobold Brown, you have a few options. Either next use a single Doman Plum to attempt hitting Soot Black. Or, that'll redirect you to either Ink Blue or Deepwood Green. From Ink Blue, try x2 Pineapples, see if that works. Or, from Deepwood Green, try a Valfruit to reach Soot Black. If that doesn't work, come back and we'll what we can do with your RGB values.

Because my bird actually skipped several colors by following the repeated proc, process.
I initially went from default to Coral Pink and managed to stir that to Sunset Orange in only two feed sessions.
Meanwhile, others who only do the 1 proc per session rule, go from default to either Salmon Pink or Millioncorn Yellow, by using the same fruits I used.

So in my mind, I'd hardly consider it meaningless.
It has more meaning than anything to feed multiple in one session, if you know your target and amount of procs needed to exit a color and enter a new one. Unless I am missing something that you can enlighten me on.

Following my rule set, you'll need 4 feather procs of reds and 1 proc of blue.

You're probably one valfruit away to push the red slightly up and blue a bit if not all you need while lowering the green as well.

I was stuck in the deepwood > ink > kobold loop when I decided to start adding 1 of each lightener every session until I hit a color that wasn't the dark dark ones.

When I hit Kobold Brown again I did 1 plum, 1 valfruit, 1 pineapple, and then another plum. All 4 proc'd and resulted in Marsh Green. From there, I did what someone else had suggested from Marsh Green. They did 2 berries and 1 apple to go to Ink Blue and then from Ink 1 pineapple to black. I combined those both in to one session so from Marsh I went 2 berries, 1 apple, 1 pineapple and got black. I guess 1 berry and 1 pineapple cancel each other out so I'm guessing just 1 berry and 1 apple from Marsh would've worked too.

Either way, so glad this is done with. I was losing my sanity. Thank you to everyone here who has contributed to the discussion and research of Chocotology.

I got Deepwood Green again, so I just stuffed my chocobo with 2x pineapple, 2x valfruit, and 1x plum in hopes that I can at least get to another color I haven't already gotten.

Bummer. Since I pumped my bird full of berries and pears I probably had my values in a different ballpark.

There are probably better people here who can help, but you have a couple options. Either try the smallest amount of fruit possible to change it again or try to pump it full of stuff to get a bigger change. Sky Blue is 124, 171, 207. Your goal is 60, 107, 107. You'll want your blue and greens closer together and you'll want everything darker.

If you don't have access to a ton of fruit maybe just try to adjust the greens and blues for now. A handful of Pears will raise your green values and lower your blues and reds. It probably won't hit Turquoise but it might be closer.

Soo, after getting marsh green and feeding it a pineapple, I am at raisen brown :( lol

I actually think I like the Deepwood and Ink colors more than black, honestly. Buuut, black is black....

My friend has been having a TON of trouble getting feather messages with fruit. He's at royal blue and has used at least 50 fruit trying to darken the color. Sometimes, when the fruit DOES proc, (as in, there's a feathers message) there's no cutscene of his choco when the timer's up. So there's no color change. What's going on here?

Syrehn Do you mind giving me the reverse for getting Grape Purple from Deepwood Green? I fed 2 Plum 2 Pineapple and 1 Valfruit which changed from Ink Blue to Deepwood but I don't know how to proceed

A better question is, what color is he aiming at?
He might need to move to the red or green side of the wheel depending on what he's aiming at, assuming his blue is capped (I am assuming this stuff caps eventually).

To tell the truth,i still can't find my final color yet.even Soot Black is beautiful but somehow i don't think its suit for me maybe i'm gonna try "hard to describe" color such as Torquise Green,from the pics i've seen i really can't tell the Torquise Green looks green or blue .. It sure interesting to let ppl curious and ask "What color is that !?" I love that kind of reaction.Or i might try Girlish Color like Lotus Pink
