Been there, done that....and still doing it! Sheesh my memory sucks! You'd have thought I'd have learned by now, I'm sitting there thinking, "woah they're taking a lot of damage, my heals can't keep up"....duh!!

lol, i just have an horror story, well, not that much...

i joined this new static coil group so we did turn 1 at first try, then summoner changed to sch to do t2 for enrage, well, everything going well until tank dies on the boss after ADS then every one starts to run, im like -take it easy, lb 2 almost full- I adl my self and stoneskin then I use the lb, but my group was like -oh! well, wipe, lets do this again- then they notice they revive and im just hearing on mumble -oh! shit, kill it kill it- and the horror was that when we manage to survive that and kill that thing, they thanked the other sch :O, i was like whaaaaaat???? it was me xD, i wish i have recorded all those horror and epic moments where healers were the heroes

We've all had those. The best ones are when you're actually LOOKING at the amount you're healing and you don't see anything wrong with it. Double facepalm. Dx I did this in AK, hit the key and didn't notice it didn't cancel the stance, then wondered why the $#%@ he was taking more damage than usual.

I do this in garuda extreme all the time still! I like to DPS through phase 1 because there's almost no damage besides frictions to the party and the tank getting auto attacked (tank should be dodging slipstream all the time). When phase 2 comes about, sometimes I think I've hit my cleric stance button but cleric stance is still on. I just sit there wondering why my adlo shields are falling off faster than normal before I facepalm and realize that cleric's stance is still on. Hahaha Luckily, only wicked wheel can really kill the tank and it's MOSTLY on the tank to mitigate the damage and usually the other healer can cover the damage taken.

My team has on several occasions mistaken my well-timed WHM heals (typically cure II's btw) as my SCH partners Fairy heals...

They will be on teamspeak and say 'thanks Red's Fairy!' ...I'm so invisible in the back they notice SCH>Fairy.........>WHM

Being slashed repeatedly by iron giants running wild during King Behemoth. Felt like a run which belonged in a horror movie :(

I had a lancer do that once while I was healing as a CNJ. We told him to stop since our tank had troubles already, being low-leveled and low-geared. He responded that he had something to do and had to finish soon. So while we were fighting an optional group for a chest, he got ahead in the dungeon and brought the next pack to the room. I decided to not heal him. He died and asked why I didn't healed him. My response was that I "can't heal dumbness". The next few packs he only stand there looking at the 3 of us fighting, so we kicked him and got a better player for the dungeon's boss, which was right next.

Nah, you're fine. This happened to my wife in WP the other day. It sounds like the same guy lol. She said at the beginning of the run that she couldn't heal a speed run. But he tried anyway... 3 times and quit. Then we got a good tank.

Reserved for me - I will be embarking on healing Titan HM and Ultima HM until I can do my job as WHM successfully.
