even random DF party can get it down to 10% after several wipes
all people need is a chance, and a lot of practice

Kanatide same here, I and my FC are also planning to put these people out of business with free runs. We're leveling up our guilds gear level so we can to titan HM consistently. I even created a linkshell for titan hm so people could learn the fight.

We need open world battles and im not talking these lame fights like behemoth and Odin. Everything is instanced for one and every end game battle is about your gear. I'm sorry but there is not much skill involved yet. Anybody with a brain can avoid stuff when it warns you before hand lol. The endgame has alot of problems I just hope they fix it.

If someone enters a dungeon via duty finder that person should be prepared to get teamed up with first timers and players who don't have all uber endgame gear already.

If the tank rushes, let him die. After a few deaths they might learn.
If someone tells me to skip cutscenes (in a duty finder group) I'll make sure to take my time and watch all of them till the end.

It's not the games fault that people are like this. It's the gamin community that's getting worse every year.
Many use games to get rid of frustration or anger and the players who play for entertainment and fun have to deal with this crap.

So what they'll ditch people who can't end their cut scenes fast enough too? PS3 players can't end it as fast as PC. I for one am a PS3 user here and my boyfriend is PC. Yeah I can see how long I take. In fact the last time I counted was 27 seconds to load an area like say South Shroud. Minimum 15 seconds ish. I've got good connection. Wired. Server is literally just 10 hours away in NA.

If thats the case then I'll just stick to people I know and run it. I knew people are strict about things to begin with but goodness, all the stuff you just went through.... I don't know. Making me re-think a bit.

I do agree with what most of you guys are saying though. If you use DF for a dungeon, expect new people no matter what the circumstances are. The only way for a newbie to get better is to have someone guide them through and help them.

mmo communities just get worse with time. Every one i've played has had a worse playerbase than the last attitude-wise

but this game does have a couple things about it that are just completely out of whack for endgame pacing just look how it's laid out

level 50 content:
a gear set that is literally just handed to you upon hitting level 45

level 55 content:
wanderer's palace literally has full sets of gear for every class including weapons and it's the main source for key items to craft lv55 items yet it's largely bypassed by the whole server because well... keep reading

level 60 content:
Amdapor Keep, actually a pretty solid and rewarding dungeon and ifrit for the weapon but for some reason it's not really any harder than the level 55 content

level 70 content:
two extremely easy to the point of basically being guaranteed win 8 man dungeons that actually come before the level 55 content in difficulty progression.
and then garuda and titan which are largely just done for relic questline

level 80 content:
non-existent

level 90 content:
binding coil, nothing to complain about that really and for some reason the same dungeon as the level 60 content


so to just map out endgame a bit in the order apparently intended
you start it off by just being given your level 50 gear as a no effort freebie at 45(WTF?)
You then go to wanderer's palace, solid dungeon no real complaints on that step but no one really even does it
You then go to amdapor keep and start doing hard mode primals, still progressing at a good pace and expanding activities is good
You then grind the everliving hell out of story dungeons that are WAY easier than everything you've done to this point and wonder why you even bothered to get the 60 gear to begin with just to progress backwards to easier content. Also the same source for the key items of the alternate gearing of this level so your basically stuck doing it

and then you have to find a solid group for coil or regress back to the level 60 content to upgrade to level 90 because who needs 80

it's just so... screwed up
and to make matters worse the low level stuff wedged into the upper end of gear progression is story dungeons littered with cutscenes and no reward whatsoever outside of the tokens to buy 70 stuff

That's just my opinion, but Square Enix are adding a gear requirement for dungeons come patch 2.1 which should solve the issue.

As stated previously, the armor that drops in AK is less powerful than DL, therefore, SE will not require people to have ANY DL to run it.

i salute you and everyone else who shares you attitude, ive had so many run ins with people trying to defend charging for runs, i find it low, pathetic and totally uncalled for, square shouldn't allow it

I wish there is more FC or people like you in Sargatanas Server. So far I haven't encounter one yet. All the yell are people in Relic and Full DL + Exp people. There is also so many Shout to offer people Guarantee Titan Win for outrageous Gil like 700k - 1mils Gil per run. I probably have to DF it with a couple of my friends because we don't have enough people, but I bet it get pretty ugly after a couple of wipe.

Yes, you should feel free to watch the CS's at your leisure. Expecting fully geared and relic'd players for every CM/Prae/AK duty finder run is the definition of idiocy, and it doesn't surprise me these are the quality individuals ruining things for a lot of otherwise competent and friendly players. This type of person falls into the same category as the one who continuously aggros Titan in HM, wiping the party over and over, just because they didn't go 1/1 through DF.

That being said, and from personal experience, after you've run these dungeons umpteen times already to gear one or two classes, you really just want them over with ASAP. It's common in any MMO end-game setting.

The elitist/toxic community needs an attitude check, and has since about the second week in.

I've seen some bad communities. This one is starting to rank up their with League of Legends. The difference is this game is NOT free. Honestly if enough people discourage others from supporting this game all those D-bags precious work and gear won't mean anything.

You have to remember that these "casuals" keep the lights on.

You guys must be playing some other game or maybe you all douche bags your self because I almost never find any when using DF. So far just 2 of all the ones I met all others have been good fun to group with.
