So few Bards actually take the time to learn blood for blood. Because they're lazy.

This. I've looked up BRDs on Lodestone to see gear sets and very, very few of them have leveled, let alone touched/unlocked Lancer. I saw maybe one or two with a lvl 34+ lancer and a couple of BRDs with level 31 lancers.

Working on it! I despise leveling lol. A bard who does not have access to all their proper tools is a bad one.

I read that somewhere the other day and went to test. It is indeed true. I parsed without Requiem on a dummy, then did it again with Requiem. No difference. None. Maybe it was intended to work but doesn't due to some bug, maybe never intended. Either way, the result is the same: Requiem has no effect on Windbite.

Maybe because lancer is "super ultra mega" boring (okay thats could be biased opinion)class to play :( I made my to 34 and swear that never ever touch it again.
Now i have dilema if its worth level a monk for mantra or if its this buff negligable

Well this is a bit upsetting for me, I just got the game last weekend and was planning to play bard (I like the idea of playing a ranged non-caster) but if there is a saturation of bards perhaps I should go with my second favourite archetype.

I would rather play the underused not-OP class than something which is massively over populated.

lucky I didn't get too higher level with this guy before I found out.

BRD is not overpopulated. The overpopulated class in this game is Dragoon.

Is it? Im pretty sure theres more bards than dragoons, tho on the other hand there might be more lancers than archers.

Class popularity will change over time. Play what you enjoy playing and everything else will fall into place.

There are droves of Bards running around but same goes for Dragoons; I'd be hard-pressed to say which I see more of. And honestly you stand a much better chance getting into groups as a Bard; hardly anyone will refuse to have two whereas melee is another story, however unfair that is.

change from server to server i guess , every castrum pug i join has 2 or even 3 brds and the pug pt will take any DPS.

and i see shouts from brds lfp more than any other job.

for the content that matters (titan & Coil) u are going to do it with your FC . So the chance of getting party is 100% no matter the job.
