Wow, way to put words in someone's mouth - nice! Normal around here, though, for the toxic echo chamber, eh? No, in my world you fire bad people. The dev team, however, isn't anywhere near that. I'd say they're average to slightly above average. AKA normal. Not everyone can be excellent. You fire bad people. You don't fire average people.

The problem with team Yoshida is that it was idolized for years, do you think Square and the dev team didn't take advantage of that? Of course they did, they did the bare minimum for years and they're still doing this. They should be fired? I don't think so, not all of them at least, the writer after the last expansion should probably take a break and read some serious books though.
