What things annoy you?

Weekly lockouts, I wish it wasn't a thing.

The entire Disrespectful and Dismissive Thread. It's one thing to complain about something you didn't like but when you make a clickbait a title and most of the complaints therein are disrespectful and dismissive you kind of just shoot your issue in the foot by making it look as if none of the ones arguing and complaining for something they want to see have any respect for any opinion outside of their own and just makes for a large detraction from the issues that need addressed thus doing nothing but ensuring that the arguments for the changes and why they're needed will eventually be ignored.

So... you can't ever say that anything is disrespectful and dismissive because to do so would be disrespectful and dismissive? You've got yourself a bit of a conundrum there. As someone who felt disrespected and dismissed by the live letter I find your attitude towards my attitude dismissive and disrespectful :P

People feel disrespected and dismissed. It's a good thing for them to be able to express that. If people were ambushing devs in the street and screaming at them that would be a different thing, but if people are dissatisfied it's far healthier for the players and far better for the devs (who benefit monetarily from knowing what will make their customers happy) for there to be somewhere people can express themselves.

That's easy for me. Confirmation windows. Everywhere. Confirmation window to exit a room...seriously? Just remove them all and the game suddenly got twice as good.

I am crafting heavensward Wyvern Leather, I have the best possible gear at the moment that I can wear/craft on my crafters.
Getting a HQ crafted is pure RNG, because I need all touches to succeed and/or get at least a good proc on Byregot.
Anything else is not a guaranteed HQ craft.
And that's with materia's melded.

While you are in levelling phase, the best approach is to do tribes craft quests and challenge log for a main crafter that will lead your levelling for other crafts. In other words :

That's nice if you want to power through them yes, but that's not my intended playstyle for crafting.
It's not impossible to HQ every item at level I'm doing, but it sure as heck isn't easy

What annoys me: Over eager dps...

In 2 ways:

1 - Pulling
I'm the tank, that's my job, and if you want to pull, then you can tank. I'll turn off my tank stance and let you go to town.

2 - DPS not standing still
You don't need to dash in/dash out on every attack you do. If you're in an AoE zone sure, go to town. If you're not then don't step in then step out. Maybe this is a PS4 thing? I dunno. It is distracting and totally unneeded. I have the bad guy, you turn it into confetti. That's how this works.

When Khloe book suggests a content my alt can't do since there's no way to unlock a content 10 levels higher than my level -_- I'm not mad at it, just it feels kinda wtf

That applies for tanks too, i dont get why they jump around like they lost their brains. theres ur damn healer hes healing you! and the dps are attacking! the jumping is unnecessery and as a blm aka i mostly stand still it annoys me to look at D:

When you join a fc but there is already Cliques in the fc so your never invited to anything unless you beg. like damn why did you even bother inviting me then?
tanks who dont use their tank stance in dungeons, thinking they are still in pre shb and can stance dance.
healers who dont f**king res and just want to dps. why are you dpsing instead of ressing us dps who got caught of guard?
dps who just do single targets on a group of adds. unless you are doing them like how sam would get their buffs started before aoe, why are you single targeting? you have free aoe's now, use them!

What i hate the most is when its seasonal or new msq quest people need to stand in the npc quest giver so it makes it hard to click on the npc

I dunno why but BRD players always annoy me. Not saying all of them are annoying mind you but these cases concern exclusively BRDs. So, it annoys me when:

-They don't do Peloton
-They pull bosses before the tank (I don't mind trash pulls)
-They jump and run everywhere
-Always stand behind me when I'm tanking and GET OUTTA HERE YOU'RE GONNA GET HURT!!!

The mezzanine that needs we use some glitch (with a uncertain result) to really look like as a mezzanine.

Well, note that you are in a thread titled "What annoys you" and I do agree. There is no real need for it and it can be distracting as it deviates from the norm, I just don't say anything about it in the run unless they also throw in the spinning tank.

Again, it’s about location. Personally I don’t agree with posting questions like “Why do you HATE healers?” in the Q&A thread (though I do understand the sentiment), and think we should be polite when talking to the devs (or their representatives) directly. Talking to each other on the healer forums, though? That’s an appropriate place for us to vent.

Also, there is a lot of logic in those “ranty“ threads, albeit some of it is a bit buried. I’ve seen many posts articulating exactly why it is the current state of healers isn’t satisfactory to a lot of healer mains (or ex-healer mains), and some really well thought out suggestions for alternative changes.

Anyway, since we’re here to talk about things that annoy us, I’ll go with the lack of any tools for official polling and feedback on changes. A lot of people seem unhappy, and several others claim to be fine with the new changes. I really wish that SE would create some tool to get quantifiable and reliable feedback, so we could say for sure whether whether those of us in the healer forums are actually representative of the general healer community, or whether we’re just a loud and upset minority.

P.S. If being polite and logical was guaranteed not getting ignored we wouldn’t be in this situation. There were plenty of logical and respectful healer questions in the question thread for the live letter. It was only in the wake of those being ignored that healers started to get rowdy.

Haha as someone who has mained BRD since I started playing some 5 years ago, being able to move (sans HW bowmage 2015-2017) and run/jump around is the most fun part. Though its particularly when the tank pulled too small and I'm immediately bored at the lack of enemies to spread my dots with. Additionally, I will also be most annoying in low level dungeons that are boring AF and I've run them more times than I can count. So I guess, the conclusion here is that I jump and run around out of boredom.

But I especially agree with the lack of Peloton with some BRDs I've run with. I always use it because its my main goal to 'get in and get out' with dungeons so running fast in between pulls is a blessing. But when I'm in a party with a phys range who doesn't use it, that's angering. Also on the same page, I only pull bosses when tank is taking too damn long to pull the boss, IE: 30+ secs just sitting at the start of the boss room. That's just irritating and a waste of time.

And the standing behind the tank is just a bad player trait or just simply someone who hasn't learned their lesson yet. Young melee players and healers do it too!

My bgm is locked in 35% volume with all other things at 100%. But even in 35% it gets louder sometimes. In the login screen it's kinda like 3000% louder... '-'

* I don't like the prevalence of hypersensitivity, where criticism and advice are considered harassment, or when people try to police the way in which I refer to myself, or the things I enjoy. And by "hypersensitivity" I don't mean people who report usages of slurs in a chatlog, I mean the very act of requesting tank stance being met with "dont tell me how to play."

Or, as a healer, "Could you please use a cooldown?" to be met with "no" and either followed with an insult, or with the "all the other healers heal me just fine without a cooldown so you're the one who sucks"

People who rush to other mobs when I am playing as a Tank because they want the run to go fast since they don't have little time to play. (if you're going to play FF14 with other players always make certain you have the time to play with other people)

People who never discuss how much the pull can be with the group and instead run off and drag them to the Tank without even discussing things with the group. (Discuss things with the group on how much the pulls can be and have the group come to a agreement first. This is a group effort game and don't act like the entire PF group is there to only please you only.)

Developers who make major changes without sharing the philosophy of those changes, then ignoring feedback and feeling "attacked" when their players get frustrated with them.

Just. Having so many different inventories in the first place is actually pretty annoying. Is it on my retainer? Armory chest? Bag? Saddlebag???? Thank heck for /isearch or I'd never freaking find anything

And "can't do that while occupied" or whatever. Why can I not move stuff in my inventory while I'm talking to the glamour dresser or the expert turnin guy?? Why????

For that matter, and please tell me if I'm just missing something, why on Earth can't I just right click to hand things in to the expert guy? Is there really no other way than scrolling down the list to find what I want to hand in?

Getting raised as a dungeon boss is about to die. (lul just don't die).
Tanks that wait a handful of gcds until people decide to pop CDs, bubbles, then immediately start running off.
People who have to stagger 5min~ afks per kill on an Extreme trial, causing members to reconsider and flake.
The total lack of faith in bloodbath which puts me off greeding in an aoe etc. because the healer would gcd me anyway.
Rangeds that put no value in staying close and will be as far out of the group as possible to dodge all the aoe buffs and heals. Many deaths I'd see would be because of them taking raidwides without receiving the medicas that would've saved them. It also makes me salty because some of them are decent at hitting buttons and I can't drg tether their opener without downtime or clipping.

AFKers in Alliance/Main Scenario. Trust me, we see you and you can bet an effort will be made to remove you before the end, even if you "return" last second.

When I queue for something by myself and end up in a premade group of friends who proceed to use Party chat like it's their own personal chatroom. Like I don't want to hear your cringe worthy inside jokes and such, why can't you use all the other various forms of chat for that?
