It wouldn't make much sense for it to be a dungeon fight, as we're only getting one dungeon in odd numbered patches.

Gosetsu, Hien, etc. the mainland Domans are definitely new allies in the grand scheme of things. You can lump the Azim Au Ra in there too, I guess, if they're still involved in the Doman story at all (other than the budugan thirstily planning to kidnap Hien)
The image doesn't load for me, but assuming you mean the same picture I posted earlier--it's almost definitely the same arena that Gosetsu and Zenos are sparring in, that the WoL is fighting Asahi/elderly Domans in, not to mention the enemies the "party" is taking on are Othard stationed Garleans! You can make out Garlean tech in particular behind the arena, which you can also see from the Zenos, Asahi, elderly Doman etc. fights. I had totally forgot that the Dark Knight mendacity weapon was a godsdamned katana though, lol
As for dungeon bosses... based on the trailer I'd say they are: Sun Wukong (the big monkey with the staff), the flying red-faced tengu remodel, and maybe that feng shui turtle? We didn't see a third, but typically if it was a dungeon preview they'd be wearing the dungeon gear at least some of the time!
I really wonder if that is truly Zenos or an Ascian. Because if its Elidibus then it would make even more sense to teach Asahi (or someone else) the way to summon primals.
Or if its Zenos maybe he does not like Asahi and wants to kill him while having a challenge. Thus he tells him how to summon a primal but because he does not have any kind of echo he wont make it back alive. And Zenos would have a foe that he could fight against. (And then we come and take his plan apart by killing it)
Wasn't the allies part said during a showing of inside of the light house? If so maybe that's more about the 24man as those Allies are VERY new to us. I might be mistaken, but I thought the 24man at least this part of it is supposed to sort of tie into the msq some how? So many questions.
It was, but that's no indication that it has to deal with the Ivalice story. A famous example is Yugiri's voice lines over Eureka in the 4.2 trailer; since the swap to this new trailer format it's not as straightforward. It's also important to note that the only voice acting in the Ivalice questline is the battle with Argath so far.
What if Zenos became an Ascian...? xD
Good point, though for now I'll say that it is him alright and not an ascian since the timing would be odd, that said I would say that Zenos likes no1 as I said in the past he just uses ppl bitterness and festers it so that they can spread chaos, what if asahi can make so that a primal is summoned during the prison swap and he blames the doman for it? Making it look like Doma has turned to summoning a primal during a peace conference, that would be a good pretext to wage war again on Doma especially as it would look like a betrayal.
Admittedly I'm running on conjectures here but we'll know tuesday
Congratulations indeed! The guess made so much sense that it was actually anti-climactic for me when the supposedly "secret" was finally revealed.
That said, I love FFXIV's take on Tsukuyomi, especially the "rabbit ears", which are likely a reference to the mythical "moon rabbit" found in many cultures, not just Japan's.
It is definitely an Ascian. I mean the Zenos we knew was just a blootdthirsty brute. Intricate plans like the one needed to summon Tsukuyumi are not his style. He even has a different voice and talks a lot like Elidibus. Besides, we have seen the true Zenos. He pulled a Sahagin preast and hijacked the Elezen dude. So we have Elidibus with Zenos' body, and the Elezen soldier with Zenos' soul. So can we have a Zenos VS Zenos fight?
