Yes, it is a technical fault. Which is completely relevant, because the broader the range of things on the shop, as per the request of people in threads like this one, the greater the strain on the billing/deployment system, which is already failing.
And to add further relevance, it seems the account itself may not even be there anymore to apply a card to, as Square are now asking me to provide screen caps of an access error the game throws at me, which claims the game has never even been played on that account.
So we get a cash shop on top of this service, and Square constantly write to the character database to add all these new things that you guys in this thread want. What are the chances of potential corruption/deletion problems like this reoccurring?
Pretty damn high, I'd say.
