This Bard stacking thing needs to be dealt with

you forgot to add the pet dmg while the smn is putting dots :P ,isnt burst but is dmg too :)

2.5 sec cast time from garuda for 160 damage hits is not burst. Especially when you issue the command to switch and it takes the pet a good 1-2 seconds to start doing what you commanded it to do.

People seem to confuse what bursting means. You need to burst Titan's Tombs. You need to burst the Satin feather. Burst means doing a spike within a very short time window.

SMN sustained may be alright, but their ability to burst really hinders it as a class. I basically rely on my bard and monk and BLM to do the kills because it's not even worth my time to switch out of the boss to cast a pitiful ruin+ pet auto while my dot's fall off boss.

Flaming Arrow is superior, even single target, if there is at least 5 out of 10 of the ticks that hit(compared to Heavy/Straight Shot)

Well you have a DPS that can attack far away from all the AoEs and move freely around to avoid any field attacks (while attacking!) of course people are going to abuse it.

Just ground Ranged attacks so you have to stand still to shoot!

Could make it so using a skill while moving doubles the TP cost. That way they gotta stand still for the duration of the animation or pay the price.

This has nothing to do with it. It's the song stacking.

You realize you need two bards for a silence rotation in pretty much every turn in coil? Have you even done endgame? Alright, just stop talking .. lol..

Brds can out dps people as people have already mentioned due to the mobility, that's it. Also, compared to pretty much every other dps in the game, unless they are geared, summoners will lose, blm is alright if it's geared but the cast times hurts their dps. Talk when you've actually done some research please =\ all this crying and you don't even know what you're crying about.

P.S. If you're bards are keeping song up 24/7 to try to keep tp up all the time and mp up all the time, they are doing it wrong.

Except I'm on Turn 4, classes other than BRD have silence and every single group has at least one, usually 2, of them, and you're retarded.

oh really, which classes? Monk? Ok let me rely on perfect balance, paladins? Oh wait, I'd rather them focus on tanking, drg doesn't have a silence. We're on turn 5, and we use two bards, why? Because the dps is nice, it's nice having songs to get the mp back, especially when you are having to burn through mp on the mini boss fights during coil 2. Having two bards guarantees a silence will always be up for high voltage that way the other dps don't have to worry about it and it allows them to focus on dodging since there is always stuff to dodge. Cool story bro, you're in turn 4, let's see if you ever beat it.

and you realize 2/8 isn't even considered stacking, you have to have two tanks for turn 2 you tard, going to call that tank stacking?
