Relationships of the Twelve

Could our constellations or Hydaelean's constellations have something to do with this?

Possibly. Our choice in deity will obviously affect us somehow. Also, things like fishing and summoner are known to be affected by weather and moon phase and each deity has a moon so there's that... We really need more info on these deities badly.

Hey everyone, great news! Gamer Escape is going to be doing an interview with Yoshi-P at E3 and they are going to be drawing all their questions from player requests! So, I was working on some lore round-ups and I realized something I didn't realize before. Erik refers to Nymeia as the "wife of Rhalgr" even though their relationship is listed as master and attendant... mistake?

Holy mother of mercy! That is a HUGE find! That means Nymeia is the mother of Halone and Byregot! Any chance you could provide a cutscene or dialogue for where that comes from? Thanks Anonymoose, you are clearly the loremaster.

It was from an NPC added to the game near the end of Version 1 to clear up some old mysteries and foreshadow some new events. He details how there was a conflict between the religious institutions, the Monks, and the King of Ala Mhigo not long before the fall, where the latter justified his position by claiming it was his divine right, given to him by Nymeia. However, the text reads,

I'm thinking this is an error... Master/Attendant has never meant a marriage (maybe some activities within said marriage, <badum-tish!>) but still, I'm betting on clerical error, lol.

We know the Twelve are based on the Twelve Olympians, and that leaves the door open for a lot of things - for all we know, Althyk's children are by his sister a la the Zeus and Hera situation.

The German text for the same line describes Rhalgr as Nymeia's spouse, however the French text describes him as her servant. Contradictory, it seems. Anyone got the Japanese?

This makes a lot more sense, because the Monks, also known as the Fists of Rhalgr would have their claims trumped if the person they are questioning was empowered by their patron's master.

That's a very good point Anonymoose... Well, with any luck maybe the good people at Gamer Escape will ask Yoshi-P this question and all can be resolved!

Right. Unless Ferne & co come out with something juicy, I'm calling the English & German versions a mistranslation.
