One of the issues isn't really player generated or down to any lack of effort in player efforts to get to marks.
It's simply the servers, with the seemingly ever present 'queue of over 50' being seen as soon as you attempt to transfer.
Even in the same world it can take repeated attempts simply getting to the zone, all the while personal frustrations rising in the knowledge you're going to miss the mark.
There is of course an immediate workaround that SE could do here. Make the S rank and subsequent rewards only targetable by people from the world it spawned on.
However, that would appear to be an extreme measure considering the current popularity of these marks.
