Short, Masculine Hairstyles

Would like to see this, I'd like a slickback/spikey short haircut with a bang in the front. Or Zack Fair's hairdo.

To tell someone they are 'sick and twisted' and involved in 'fetishism' because they said they liked to write so-called yaoi fanfiction (short-hand for male-male relationships) is an opinion that should be nipped in the bud.

You insinuated that gay people exist just for fetishization and fanfiction by saying "in your opinion". Nobody said anything about being able to write same sex fanfictions, you are free to write whatever you want. But other people do not exist simply for fetishes.

In my opinion, the "approved male stereotype" in Japanese manga written by gay men is built like a Roegadyn but still with a sick and twisted attitudes around domination and a culture of what I call non-consent.

Now, what, in particular, do you have to say about short, masculine hairstyles that isn't the apparent gay male stereotype in the United States of America at this time?
Personally, I like longer hair, but then again, I started growing out my hair when the Stonewall Riots and First Moon Landing were Current Events, and I'm letting it grow longer these days as well.

The problem with longer male hairstyles in-game is clipping. I want to look good in gear, and if I have to stare at the back of my head in-game, at least I want to see it all, not 1/2 of it cut off by the hood of the current gear set.

Bold typically means someone is emphasizing something. So I'm not sure why he would give an "in your opinion" response to that. Also it is not one's opinion that gay men shouldn't be caricatured and stereotyped into one set box.

Square should release one masculine and 1 feminine hairstyle each patch and make them unisex, so everyone can enjoy them.

Please more curls, we don't need more ponytails with braids.

I get that this is a style we don't have a lot of and that people want, and there are definitely a number of distinct styles that could be picked out and added, but I still don't see how you expect it to be a thing that gets lots of variations on an ongoing basis.

If you made a grand list of "all the possible hairstyles you could make with any length of hair", this would be a small corner of it. It's never going to be treated as half the styles they should make on an ongoing basis.

Even "all the styles you could ever want to use on a male character" is going to be far more varied.

Sis, genuinely confused here. What are you actually arguing?

Even if devs focused exclusively on producing just a third of the styles depicted in the OP, with the rate they release hairstyles, that's literally years worth of content. And here you are arguing the quantifiable limit of styles based on length??? Assuming you're putting aside artistic licence and the gravity-defying nature of the medium.

As it stands, there's a dearth of masculine styles, some of which are locked behind race. So yes, I'd like to see more of an effort in said direction.
