Bozja is extremely disappointing (especially the 5.45 update)

What do you think the noise:sound ratio is like on Reddit or Twitter by comparison? In the end, it is their forum, one which they moderate this way, although I find the example you cite to be a rather odd one. Hardly the most egregious of content. Yeah, guess this means I not only won't bother trying to further my relic weapons, won't bother trying to get the ones I don't have yet, and won't bother even starting the next ones in the next expansion. No point in caring about the content and then having the rug pulled out from under me once I'm half way through.

And the biggest middle finger of them all to me personally? Essentially locking a new hair style people have been wanting for literal years beyond a random drop at the end of content people won't even be running in a couple of weeks time. Just buy it on the Market you say? Yeah, not when it's going to cost more than a House, assuming you can even find any listed (and that goes for both the House and the hair style).

@the OP I agree. There's elements of Bozja I like (the story is pretty good so far), and they did improve on some aspects of Eureka but the overall experience to me so far has been worse. I also liked each of the Eureka zones better. At least I like the relic (BLM) and the new armours, I guess.

So you think a sexist thread is hardly egregious? I thought this was a decent community, seems things have changed as this game has gotten more popular. Why would they want to engage with a community that calls them arrogant or having a big ego?

Yes, I think it's hardly egregious in the grand scheme of things. I can very easily point to worse on either of Reddit or Twitter. If a little bit of humour in poor taste is an excuse for SE not to engage with its own fanbase, they need to grow thicker skin and also get their moderation staff to do a better job if it bothers them. I'd also say it's dubious to call it "sexist" per se.

Any developer hiding from their fanbase because of some rotten elements in it is going to lose sight of otherwise valuable feedback. Especially if they begin only consulting echo chambers, and particularly ones that can bury dissenting opinions through downvote systems, which are not reflective of community opinion at large but just the sensitivities of anyone reading a thread at any given time.

I guess you didn't actually read my post--I enjoy Eureka. Bozja is missing all the parts that made Eureka good. It's JUST fates.

It's future proof in the sense that it's shb leveling content and it has npcs that help you in the skirmishes and has stuff like mounts and hairs that you can only get there.

There's a system to it, although a fairly bad one. Bozja is divided into 3 sections and FATEs in each section scale to the number of players in that respective section. You can see the idea behind it to make sure new players aren't stuck, but the theory is way off. The majority are obviously doing FATEs. A Fate spawns North and most of the instance goes there. During this, another FATE spawns mid, checks for the number of players and sees a low number because they're all North, so it scales low. 2 minutes later 50 people come down from the North to do the mid FATE, which is scaled to pathetic weak and it gets zerged in 30 seconds.

I wonder how much of an impact memory farming will have on Alliance Raids overall--on the one hand, there is already a problem with people dropping out of the longer alliance raids (did an Ivalice raid recently where a healer and two dps dropped as soon as they saw which it was). On the other hand, now people have a reason to specifically queue for something other than the CT raids, which means Alliance Roulettes will hopefully have a bit more of variety, and it'll be easier to pop queue for the Mhach and Ivalice raids.
