Quite possibly the dumbest thing I have read is this thread.

I thank my janitor and even say "goodnight" before leaving. I once turned off a sink that another student intentiionally left running to overflow so that the janitor would have less of a mess to clean up. I push in other student's chairs and pick up trash so that janitor lady has less work to do at the end of the day.

You on the other hand, probably shit and piss all over the toilet seat and floor and tell yourself that you don't have to be careful because the janitor gets paid to clean up your mess. This is everything that's wrong with our world. Please go away forever. Come back when you understand what empathy is.

Not to sound too negative but, I'm considering their improvements on their game as their thank you to me for sticking with FFXIV since day one, chosing to pay and support them in that way as well with the money I worked hard for.

It has been a more than a bumpy ride, as far as my FFXIV practical and emotional experience goes, but I'm still here.

It's still a love-hate relationship with SE on this, and I can say, one thing I'm certain that I am thankful for, is the friends that I've made. But that doesn't have to do with aforementioned improvements to the game directly.

Now excuse me while I go thank my doggie for giving me unconditional love every day~<3

no that person they talk about would be you. we both know he's right. it's polite to say thank you to your waitress for a good service. it will be taken rude to say the same thing to the janitor. it may not be meant that way, but that's exactly how it would be taken.

you would be the guy the janitor gets home and tells his wife he got fired because he beat someone half to death with his mop because they were trying to be funny and mock his job.

This is so horribly wrong. Where do you lenr this crap? I thank my janitor and SHE thanks me back for acknowledging her and making her life that much easier. Go learn.

People feel compelled to thank SE for fixing the garbage that was sold to us when SE are the ones that should be apologizing for selling us that trash(which they did)

Have you ever notices how much yoshi thanks us for staying, we are the ones doing them a favor not the other way around, lol.

this is exactly how i feel. we are not only doing them a favor by staying while they try to clean up their own mess, but we are willing to put our money on the line as a thank you. they will get no additional thanks from me until the game is completed.
