People are more likely to queue for current expansion content, though, especially since you can't go undersized with them anyway. Roulettes are best for old content where people would need help filling in a queue spot because fewer people are doing them or they do them undersized.

Why would someone, for example, use duty finder to queue for A12s? If people struggle to do raids with pugs from party finder when it can't be unsynced, how on earth would they do them in a roulette?

What's gonna happen is that someone will immediately leave the party. Because there's no point wasting 120min in something that wouldn't even be completed compared to just waiting for 30min for leaving.

Savage has never been something (on NA/EU data centers anyways) that people openly queue for in the Duty Finder/Raid Finder. All Savage is done via Party Finder here, even now when you unsync for glamour or old mounts.

I don’t think the Roulette would gain enough traction for it to be feasible. Especially when you can just unsync it. Those who want the challenge of sync generally pre-form in PF anyways. They don’t queue up for it and hope it pops (because they know that it won’t, since that’s not how things are done over here—even when the Savages were relevant).

What would tend to happen is what Alucard has described—someone will instantly leave if the Roulette hands them something actually challenging (T9, A3S, A7S, A8S, A11S, etc.), or they’ll leave after a wipe or two because of impatience/lack of willingness of the party to listen to mechanics (this already happens in Mentor Roulette EX primals when people do stay—some tend to leave if we don’t clear after a couple pulls, or if those not aware of the mechanics continuously fail to listen to explanations).

I think it would be a total shit show but hey, if they want to do it, go ahead. I can't think of a good reason besides limited resources they couldn't throw it in. But if it doesn't mean the sacrifice of something else, why not?

Um, that's beside the point of my response to Risvertasashi. In fact, I acknowledged that problem in my first post. I don't think they will do anything with this besides what they've already included in Mentor roulette, but on the chance they are, might as well start with Coil, in my opinion, rather than a duty that is current content.

Adding in Coil brings us back to what Risvertasashi said—jobs are completely different at level 50 now than they were back then, which may either make the content more challenging due to lack of mitigations or well-rounded kits, or braindead simple due to the overpoweredness of newer jobs.

Coil was ARR’s Savage, so keep in mind that the content was never simple during its time.

My response was in response to the thread at hand—which is asking for ALL types of EX and Savage to be included in the Roulette, not just current level-cap ones. And to essentially just repeat that a Savage Roulette would not be feasible.

No, I get that, but like I said, roulettes are not meant just for current content, so that's something they'll have to deal with either way, assuming they even put it in, so not choosing Coil simply because jobs work differently now is not a good reason. (The fact that it is a difficult content/Savage-equivalent would be the reason, but again, already acknowledged in my first post.)

There’s a huge difference between dungeons and Savage—dungeons can be steamrolled doing the bare minimum 1-2-3–you don’t need a full rotation for them; you don’t even need a proper rotation for them—but Savage takes more and always has. If there are instances where jobs are found to be lacking and said lacking impacts the way the content is completed, then I think that’s fairly decent reasoning.

Are you saying there is a party composition that would fail an old duty when synced simply because of how much has changed with the jobs rather than player error? I don't think that's the case.

No Hyomin is saying that you can do the bare minimum to clear a dungeon, you can't do the bare minimum in Savage or Coils how SB has trimmed things in question with their new role actions and what classes have lost combined with the fact that people don't know how to play their jobs either its just a recipe for disaster.
