Dps As Healer

People like you are why its a war, there's a kick option i could careless if you use it or not. I refuse to play in a way YOU want. DPS have no real effect in a run other then added damage there for its the perfect class to play as one likes.
Now if only people such as yourself would stop trying to act like they know what is best things would be a lot better..

If your main job really IS DRG you would know this is not entirely correct....especially lately. If you're a good dps you're paying attention to what the tank and heals are capable of and switching your targets constantly, so as not to pull aggro off undergeared/"not so qualified" tanks, or pick up targets that stray to healers that aren't able to control their aggro, for whatever reasons.

Mindlessly going through your dps rotation without regard to the rest of the party's situation makes you a bad dps.

Most people use Dark now, one of the easiest Agro holders right now so this isn't all that true. For most Dark i seen even if the DPS goes all wild they never gain the Agro off the Dark.

Have you even run dungeons the last couple months? Can't even begin to count how many new DRK's there have been lately that can't hold aggro on more than 1 target at a time.

I learned to ignore him a long time ago. He has issues with me. Also it is not an over exaggeration or at least it did not feel that way. I got some good war tanks where I did not have to heal at all in a large over pull. Why do people overuse Hyperbole on these forums anyway? Also the vid Bourne_Endeavor linked reinforces the point.

Nice to hear Yoshi's opinion.

Sometimes I dps (main is AST), and sometimes I don't. I have all my dps abilities on shift modifiers and have not found an alternative in keybinding that is suitable, and this game can leave my hand in utter agony if I spend a lot of time dpsing in a dungeon. So I'm definitely not going to feel guilty or lazy if I decide not to dps.

Why...? I hate the toggle, tbh. xD I think they could get away with a slight buff to healer damage abilities so that it splits the difference between current no-cleric-stance damage and with-cleric-stance damage, and then removing the ability entirely. Either that or remove it and actually design encounters that require more than 20% of my attention to heal.

I can see how you always end up in verbal communication wars as you call it. I've simply asked a couple questions based on your statement prior. It can easily be misunderstood the way you phrased it. Spouting insults in my direction doesn't make your point more valid, nor does it add anything valuable to the discussion itself.
