The problem doesn't lie with the difficulty, as i'd love to adapt to that and learn the fights. Like I've said before, I get a rush when the party pulls things off correctly, and I love the feeling of satisfaction when you finally clear difficult content. It took me and my friends probably three weeks to actually beat Titan Extreme (we pugged it.. getting a pug group to position correctly isnt the easiest thing xD) But i had fun every single time, even though we lost/timed out for three weeks.
The reason i stray away from savage, is because I have no way to get a static together to practice it. I work overnight while all my friends don't, so they're all sleeping when I'm free to play. Add that to my random work schedule, and the fact that my fc sortof died on a low population server, I just dont have the resources to get a clear together.
And I'm ok with that. I just want people to stop asking for the things that pose any kind of challenge at all to be nerfed... People whined and complained about Weeping City, but I loved it. (I could literally play void ark with my eyes closed, and we'd be fine. Weeping was a step in the right direction.) People whined and complained about Final Steps of Faith, but I loved it. The difficulty made it FEEL like a final battle. Like all the things we had been working for throughout 3.0 had led us to this one moment.
This is the same thing with Alex. Everything we've done within that giant machine, all the drama with Mide, all the schemes with the goblins, all the time we spent fighting our way through one arm, then the other, slaying goblins and disassembling machines, they all led to this one final showdown.
So please, let it be epic.
