i wouldn't say darkhold did that, alot of people were shunned if they weren't con or archer. i took in 2 people that were deemed"not real players" one being a lancer and the other a thm and we got batraal down to about 3% on first try and killed him the second try.

if anything id say that the one thing darkhold proved is how shallow and selfish some people can be.

Really looking forward to the encounter with Legatus Darnus.

At one point in the fight, there are large stone spikes on the ground. I imagine you have to destroy them before a certain amount of time, or else Ifrit uses a special attack?

I couldn't tell if the party was attacking the pillars.. Also the "fire" that pops up on the ground in the circle does not look good...

One thing interesting about the video: It should incinerate all that "lol casual" talk.

As I and someone else mentioned in the other thread...my guess is that the increase in HP/MP is due to the removal of physical levels and re-balancing of the stats. :cool:

The fight doesn't look overly hard at all. In fact on the strategy scale it would be pretty low on the ladder in terms of Hardmode fights in WoW. Tank n' Spank until Voidzones pop, then move him out of the way. Don't stand in fire. (Run Away!) when he does charged AoE and Dash. Plus he only has about 10k HP and the fight looks to have a 30 minute timer. I see him going down in 10 mins at launch and then 5 mins a day later. Cake.

But it does look hella' fun :D I'm pretty excited for new content.

Wanna know WoW tactics?

Tank stands infront of boss and attacks. Everyone else stands behind the boss and attacks. Healers heal tank. Fire appears on floor. Everyone moves out of fire. Rinse and repeat.

Although... actually I'll put what ACTUALLY happens during a WoW boss...

Tank stands infront of boss and attacks. Almost everyone else stands behind the boss and attacks apart from 2 people that stand around going "what do i do?". Healers heal tank, except one that seems to think he's a shadow priest and gets killed by a frontal cone attack. Fire appears on floor. 2 people move out of fire, everyone else stays in it. Everyone wipes. Everyone blames the tank and healer. Raid disbands.

That's pretty much what every single WoW boss is, apart from every now and again when one of the bosses puts a debuff on someone and a healer has to remove it.
