Don't forget that it is players who keep complaining about event armours not being storable in the armoire, which has probably influenced their decision to go less gear, more furnishings.

Even then you have the same issue with housing items... Either you have a house and run out of space to place furnishing OR you don't have a house and horde it until you can get one OR you ignore an event with nothing that interests you.

Either way, you have limits on how much stuff you can have.

I was not expecting to encounter level 39 mobs when doing this level 15 event, so my first time doing a map I thought I'd be okay if I went on my 31 Ninja. Nope. Pwning it with my Smn main from now on.

People even ASKED for the little ladies' day outdoor furnishings last year, I don't see what the problem is, people wanted it, and SE gave it to them.
