Leveling up low leveled battle classes a HUGE issue at moment.

No, don't do that.

Continue on to the story since each dungeon progressively gets harder and give more exp.

Unlock the challenge log, doing some of those challenges are easy and will give you easy exp (you get exp/gil by recommending people)

Basically, the best way to lv up is to do leves (if you have enough allowances) and fates while waiting for dungeon queue.

Now that you're lv 30 go to costa del sol and do the leves/fates there. By mid to high 30's go to coerthas for fates---always people there.

ALways do that while waiting on queue; dungeon exp> fates/leves

I wonder if the issue is more the time of the day.

Last Thursday I decided to go experience on my level 15 Rogue. Queued for the two level 15 Guildhests and 15 minutes later they were both done. Queued for the Guildhest roullette and it popped in less than 5 minutes. Was level 16 and decided to queue for Sastasha, average timer said over than 30 minutes, it popped after around 20 minutes. Did this all after 11 p.m. GMT and ended up with a level 18 Rogue.

Waiting for the DF to pop is always annoying, but that's why I always go do other stuff while waiting (like Beastmen quests and GC deliveries).

The story is so boring besides unlocking dungeons. Should i just hit 50 first then comeback and finish out the story?

You can't really do anything endgame untill you finish the 2.0 storyline (IE everything story related involving lvling up plus castrum and prae), and in order to unlock more of the primals you have to complete the story up to 2.45 (IE Shiva).

So no, you should finish out atleast the story up to Prae.

Im asusming the 2.0 story missions go up to level 50? how much more further do i have?

Well the story goes to 50 and beyond, but for the 2.0 one, once you hit 50 you should be close to Castrum and Praetorium, with Prae being what you need to do to finish the 2.0 story. After that you should be able to start both the Crystal Tower and Binding Coil raids, as well as Relic Weapon. Half the dungeons you haven't unlocked yet levling wise, as well as two primals (and there are four more primals to unlock through the story after you have hit 50), as well as the hard and extreme mode version of the three you already have (the 4 post 2.0 story all start at hard mode and extreme mode comes after).

The story was designed to where you should almost always be able to do it without stop, with only the last couple levels possibly having a small break where you aren't a high enough level, and as you have already seen leves are a great way to get past that.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to reply to a little bit of everything I read without quoting due to space.

The way I leveled in the past was hunting log and class quests to 10. Might possibly need a leve or 2 to reach 10, though not always. 10-15 is the slowest. I use hunting log and leves. Level 15 to 50 was quick due to low level roulette and then regular dungeon queues after. Queu times as dps ranged from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. I didn't bother with fates at the time since queues were quick and leveling with only dungeons, hunting log, and class quests was fast. And I always use food for the exp bonus. I never bothered with guildhests because I tried them and the experience was horrible. But they must of increased guildhest experience since then since people are saying it is good. But then why when I check experience given in duty finder, the guildhest roulette still shows an experience amount given equal to less than 5% of the total needed to level?

As for FATEs, I thought there was experience bonus for doing them in a party the more there are in the party? Did SE remove that? Guess I'll try it and see how it goes.

As for friends helping, most are too busy doing other things to help, or always bad timing.

Someone sent me a tell last night saying they saw this thread and that they'd help. They added me as a friend. They already have everything at 50, but said they don't mind helping me out as it would give them a reason to login. They're just waiting for the Gold Saucer as well.
