Since when is memorization skill? Some people don't want to run that fight hundreds of times.

TFS DBZ Abridged - "DODGE!!!" Running Gag (Compilation)
I wouldn't be making the mistake of grinding titan at all. It's bad enough getting lagged out in standard dungeons, but titan? Forget that, that's a genuine waste of time every sense the last patch. I mean it's bad enough you got to wait until you finally get that perfect group. But now you have to contend with the random waves of lag that come out of no where with no warning. Most "good" players knowing this fact are likely avoiding DF(if they even use it) and won't be looking for any titan groups in PF for that reason. So you're naturally left with a proportionately higher amount of new or inexperenced players attempting this fight sense the last patch. It makes sense you would be observing a significantly higher amount of players that seem to not be very good at "dodging". Also ilvl100 doesn't mean they know anything about somewhat difficult fights. I run into people in DF all the time at that ilvl that don't even know how to do there job, much less worry about easily learned mechanics.
the issue with this is some RMT have already figured out how to do move hacks so their whole idea that this server side polls everything will prevent it was blown out of the water. they would be better off finding anti cheat software that will prevent this that wont root your system(I.E. Gameguard is notorious for this causing lots of crashes by killing important processes it shouldn't be able to touch) then changing the polling to a server/client handshake which is a lot more acurate
It's not, nor is it actually needed in Titan and that includes the EX fight. Honestly think that's part of the problem is that people are thinking too much about what Titan's about to do instead of being ready to react to what he is doing.
What you need to know for the Ex fight:
Dodge Landslide
Dodge Plumes
How to handle Gaols
How to handle adds
Notice bomb spawns(2 bombs that spawn at different times minimum, if you can notice three, all the better).
That's it and barely any more that you have to remember for any other fight. If you're a tank or healer, knowing when Mountain Buster's coming is helpful but still not 100% needed.
Granted, I also think the "Stack everyone on his ass" tactic is pants on heads retarded but whatever. Can it work? Yes. Is it the best idea for the average group? Hell no.
Swear to god, damned near every single time I see, "DODGE! show up on my screen while tanking, I have Piccolo screaming in my head.
Funny you say that, I've seen quite a few deaths due to people moving before plumes show and thus plunking theirs' down into everyone else's way.
Lag isn't a constant thing. Sometimes you're lagging, sometimes you're not, and there's often no visual cues as to whether you're lagging at a given moment or not.
So, move early? If you move early, and you're NOT currently experiencing lag, suddenly there's a big, fat plume for all the other players to move into. Yeah, that'll fly...
You're trivializing a real problem, and shifting the blame to folks who can do nothing about it. Classy.
Yup the Rule of Thumb we all should use is.... High iLevel like i100 and even more is NOT = to good players or that they know what to do in a certain fight. These days anyone can have outstanding gears and still fail at almost anything.
I've actually really lucked out lately with Titan HM in DF as I have yet to have a group fail. But then, I'm a healer, so I have slightly more impact on the outcome of the fight than others. With that said, on my normal days, I may still eat a plume here and there as I don't run that trial too often. On my good days I dodge like a pro while healing, and on those days I give myself a mental gold star. Perhaps if I gave a shit, or had better memorization skills, I'd have it down, but as it is I still goof every so often. I even keep the rotation chart up while fighting just for reference!
The more vocal people in this thread need to realize that everyone has a different skill level, and also there will constantly be new players entering into these fights, or maybe even "well-geared" players that just aren't that familiar with something. We can't all be as awesome as you think you are.
Level a caster so you can sprint. You can have sprint up for every wotl. And yes, I did this over 200 times on ps3 before they fixed the character refresh. I had to move before the mechanics started our I'd get hit.
