@ OP Precisely what group content are you attempting and why? If you're attempting to progress the story solo when it requires a party you're missing the point; the developers have put the party requirement there so that you learn something of value - something that you will need later on in end-game content.
If you solo it you don't learn what the devs. are attempting to familiarize you with - a good example is the number of people that pre-2.1 did nothing but grind FATEs to level up. By the time they hit endgame or went back to complete their story they simply did not know how to function. It was painful to watch some of these players.
Removing party requirements would be removing the learning tools players need to experience in a slightly more controlled and manageable environment before they reach endgame; how can you effectively harmonize with a group, be able to execute combinations while effectively dodging and recognize certain mechanics in a highly volatile environment with less room for error if you never did any group content beforehand? You can't or it will at least be very painful for the people carrying you through!

Then play single-player games. If you are playing a MMO, then by default you should/have to interact with other players.
