Ogi Namikiri still feels good, though I think the reason why they removed Kaiten was because of it also boosting Ogi Namikiri.. but to do a Kaiten before Ogi is a Learning Curve, not a Problem to call "Button Bloat"!

But it hits for the same amount as no crit or dh before 6.1. It feels very neutered compared to the 6.08 version, and so does Midare to be honest. Getting used to the pre-6.1 "highs" makes these post-6.1 "whatevers" feel worse in comparison. Not to mention a crit direct Midare easily outdamages a post-6.1 ogi, similar to how a crit direct Gekko or Kasha can do more damage than a Midare. It just feels bad no matter how I look at it.
Yeah no, it feels terrible still and I have been on and off my SAM alt because I don't want to inflate the numbers and contribute to a false indication that 'see? people are still playing the job, that means it's fine' or some other stupid metric the devs might use to excuse away their blunder.
The flaw with that argument is that no one can possibly adjust to the new "kit" at all ever. Because muscle memory is so used to having Kaiten that you cannot press anything and you just constantly let Kenki overlow. So I guess they are supporting going back to 6.08 SAM?
Also it is hilarious that Yoshida thought throwing in meaningless terms like "weave bloat" will sway us when things like DRK exist untouched. Almost like the "devs" think most of us are as lobotomized as they wish we are.
Oh, definitely not. People can adapt, and I imagine it'd be far easier for folks to readjust to a reversion with kaiten given hoe ingrained it was already before the changes.
I'm one of the fools keeping the [?] button on my bar so that I don't have to change anything back when/if Kaiten is returned.
I can adapt, well enough, but that doesn't mean I like it, nor that I'm used to it, far from it. If I'm still staring at my bar more than half the time of an encounter, there's a problem.
And we gonna have to wait the next live letter to see if they gonna fix or revert..
Guys i really spend my time farm bis, trying to teach new players how to play. My indentity is sam
Samurai was good and close to perfect on 6.0 the rotations was awsome, really feel the impact some skills.
6.1 kaiten removal is 100% bs
The aoe like tenkka gouken need buff potency
And need new skill or ability to make kenki more useful than shinten span button (gods i started to hate this new rotation)
Samurai still good? Yes
Yoshi p if you care about your playerbase read this thread you gonna see many people who loves the job, who spend time and effort to play and teach anothers, feeling sad with this changes.. in this time i gonna play as reaper or dragoon.http://https://i.imgur.com/quVUpeu.png
At this point, an explanation is what all of us expect. They asked for feedback and the radio silence in regards to our feedback is disconcerting to say the least.
That SAM player from Masamune hit the nail on the head; it's not only just the SAM changes that are concerning, but rather the dull direction of PvE combat as a whole. I've seen this sentiment here as well. Thank you by the way for telling me about this translator.
