I didn't get an email at all for this last code, instead I had to go to the digital river page directly, and under the product info was the number I needed.
So if it's not in your email, don't despair yet, go directly to the site you ordered it from and get the code there.

for PS3 users... that now have the "No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: ARR" starting on the 30th of august, your code is in the back of the booklet given to you when you get the hard copy of the game in the mail... this code allows you to turn your beta service... into the active full support service =)... worked for me hope it helps you guys out too.
Its just keeps telling me my Code is already in use...
This is not my problem. I was able to link my account fine. Then I got this message so the code worked. Later that night i got to the launcher and now the launcher wont update. Today I can't even get on with out it saying servers are not available. Also on my PC version i can't even get to character select with out a server being full. I HAVE NOT even picked what character to play. lol the amount of broken is amazing.
Ok so people having this issue we purchased 4 accounts and attached them all to the same SE account so we only have 1 sign in and pass word combination. I have an Email from SE with all 4 Product Now available order # in side that email has a digital rights number. Even people that did preorded digital copy didnt get charged till the game came out. so now that they charging us and payments are going through they are sending out emails with the activation codes for the 30 free days.
We're having this same problem, bought the digital version from SE but now it says we don't have the game registered and it wants another set of codes. What is the website to get this code from? That one you linked isn't correct.
Ok! Well we diagnosed the issue and it seemed to think that we didn't have a retail version of the game, looked in the junk folder and there it was...wow!

Digital Rivers at 952-253-1234 select option 1, then select option 2, then put in your order #. You will be on hold for about 5 minutes. Provide the person with your 18 digit pre order key. Make them provide you with your 20 digit activation code verbally. They seem to be having issues with the email actually getting out to you. Once you have your 20 digit codes and you launch the game. Just follow the prompts. DO NOT let the person at Digital Rivers off the phone until you have verified that the code they have provided you WORKS! Just got my information
its all about the PSN digital FF14 they we bought from the sony store on ps3 ... we didnt even got to play after the beta like some of you ...

I'm wondering... at what point does square enix admit that they are not providing an entertainment service but a grief service?
Finally got this solved but it took ages.
For PS3 Users, especially Early Access, basically everyone was given a code. It WASN'T transferred into the main game, it was just an Early code for those couple of days, for the main game, you will have a hard copy/digital download and a 12 digit registration code in the box itself. It will also potentially be in the mail (possibly trash so check).
- Once you have the code, go to PSN on your desktop and login.
- You can redeem the code as a promotional 12 digit code on the site.
- Once redeemed on the website this will ALSO mean it works on mogstation so now it is an official game.
- Go onto the PS3 and load up the game and go through the current screens where it asks for Square Enix account. You will have registered the game through PSN onto the Mogstation at this point. Check to see it states this. It should state that you have Final fantasy Reborn "Provisional", and for BETA/Early Access users might have Final Fantasy Reborn "BETA Provisional" as well.
- It will then take you through a series of screens to confirm a "provisional" purchase of the game. Basically accept all, but don't create another account it's not needed. Once you have accepted all, it will ask you to download the client.
Extras:
- IF you recieve the error message 11070, it IS a cookie issue. To solve this, Go to Playstation 3 browser on the network tab on the start screen, and open up a page. Press Triangle, then Tools. Turn Cookies OFF, then ON. I think essentially this glitch is that even though you may have Cookies ON, the game isn't recognizing this, so you will need to turn it off then on to address this.
- Potentially delete the game first then reinstall, for a clean state. Those with a hard copy might want to install from that first.
This won't work for all, but I think it will certainly help a few and clear some things up.

i never been a there when a MMO game lunched before ,, i usualy play the game 1 month later ,, but im huge fan of FF since i was a kid ,, thu i missed the FF11 but wanted to start it with FFxiv ,, always SE was of my top ..
FF is one of the most popular RPG ,they should have expect there will be massive gamers playin it ..
This is all fine and dandy, but what about those of us who already had active accounts prior. I'm Legacy but I bought the PS3 CE (not for the digital items, god no not for them, the helmet is ugly, the mount and minion are stupid and the barding awful). Now I can't log in due to the "no service account" error and I can't register the code that came with the game because it's CE (and I gave it to a friend because I didn't think I'd need it, what with already holding a service account and having used the early access code to get into the PS3 version). What can I do?
Im having the saaaaaaaaaaaaaame problem but I deleted my game and re-installing to see if it works that way.
Did you buy it through the digital download store?
Go to store.na.square-enix.com/orders
and find your order. (the order number will be in the email they sent you).
The email doesn't contain the serial code for the game. You need to go to the order page and get it there.
Once you enter it you will be able to play.

However, it does not solve the problem I and many others are having when we bought the game at the PSN store. We aren't given a code, at all. So we have no code to redeem. The game is active on our account already, but Square Enix account just wont reconize that we have the game on our PSN account.

The 11070 is now reoccuring and the game won't load for me at any point. Seems the entire server and game is bugged as I can't even get past the page where it asks whether you have an SE Account or not. Real shame to be honest.
im havin the same problem i tried to call square enix but there offices are close due to labor day which aint til saturday but there close on a friday. crazy
I tried to re-download it with my retail copy and still didn't get in.... UGHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Ok I see codes in my retail copy and registered one which was "6 letters, 3 numbers, 6 letters, 3 numbers" and it went through(recognized it) but still can't get on. I also see another code that says it's also a "reg code" but don't know where to type this one.

I thought we were supposed to get 30 days if we purchased? It's been 3! And because I already used my code to register, I can't even setup a subscription to keep playing. o.O
Maybe this is because they're updating their data servers and certain information didn't get transferred...
Honestly, I can't even use the methods suggested here. Square has stated that you can't use a CE registration on a 1.0 account. I'm stuck in limbo unless Square or Sony fix the issue.

So I sent in a ticket two days ago about receiving my CE items as now I have two service accounts but now it got worse and I have my characters in the inactive account and if I logged in to the second service account where my CE items are, my characters don't exist! Omg I don't wanna have to restart all the way from level 1 - 36! This is soooo annoying!
Then last night I sent in another ticket about this situation. Like wtf!!!
