Sims 4 became free to play on every platform so I started downloading it before heading to work. I've not played it in ages so it seemed like something to obsessively play for about a month before something else grabs my attention. Probably gonna play it on my next day off and shake hands with the cute and chubby/thick girl next door till she falls in love with me and wants to get married. I bet I could get the job done in...30 hand shakes? Unless they changed how people react to you and you have to at least try to act like a normal human being.
What's your go-to game when you are suffering from Burnout?

I play Arknights (gacha game). Gameplay is strategic enough and difficult enough that I can spend some time being engaged, but I can invest in story when I'm bored and they have some really good storyline and lore (spoiler: graphics look aesthetically pleasing, storyline makes you have depression). The problem is that it's just really long and eats up a lot of my time. Perfect for burnout though. If I'm not really wanting to play for a long time, I just use the auto deploy function and let it run in the background.
The game itself have some great music. I then learned the game company is also a music company. Heard they started making an anime based on the game too, so that's great. -

I've discovered this game, Infinite Magicraid, which is a blatant ripoff of Raid: Shadow Legends*, but much more beginner friendly. It's been fun and provides me my gamer-fix when I need a break from FFXIV.
Seriously, the devs don't even bother to deny that it's a rip-off. -

One gacha I do like is Sdorica. And it too has a pretty neat story. Not as detailed as Arknights' by a mile, but it's still fun. Though the gameplay is hard not because it's challenging, but because it's puzzle-based and sometimes it's actual bull. -

Otherwise, they're a fun game to "hit, play, then stop" nowadays. I know I've played the series too much since middle school because when I ease into any other subsequent games, experimenting with hitboxes are one of the first thing I did and XIV was no different xDQuote:

Anything I can engage and disengage with quickly, like Binding of Isaac, Noita and Overwatch. Doing most content in FFXIV is quite involved and quitting whenever you feel like is discouraged, hafta usually see things through if it's not solo content, making it a pretty bad game when you just want to chill and have very casual fun that you can opt out of whenever you feel bored or otherwise dissatisfied with it.
