と出て入れなかったわけですが
問い合わせメールの返信が来ました。内容は最後にコピペしときます。
自分の原因はですがセキュリティーソフトのバグ？でした。
普通でない状態だったらしく立ち上げて更新とかクイックスキャンとかできることを片っ端からやって閉じたら
FF14に入れるようになってました。このエラーは向こうに原因はなくPCか回線の問題みたいですね。
ともかく入れてよかった。

Basically, SE IT tech inform him 2002 is player's PC connection issue and this JP player fixed it by turn off the antivirus program: there is a bug with security soft (セキュリティーソフトのバグ)
After the patch, I on average only encounter 2002 twice and my system environment is cleaner than most of FF14 players because this system is dedicate to gaming only. No other 3rd party software including discord. I bought the new wifi6 router, i will update if i am still getting same 2002 frequency
The question is, as a game producer, who should Yoship believe? His own IT tech team who able to provide steady service before WoW exodus or some google document and no idea who the author is?

I'd wager the majority of the people getting 2002'd aren't using WiFi and even if they were, the game shouldn't error them out in the first place for a minor connection hiccup that's not an issue in literally any other game

For those who aren't PC savvy, here is how you can see the router your computer is using:
Go to the website ARR Server Status: https://arrstatus.com/
Click on your data center. At the bottom of the list of servers is an IP address for the lobby server. The current ping time from their website to the lobby of Primal, my DC, is 155 ms, which is..... not great. There's a traffic jam on the internet between this website and the lobby server.
Take that IP address, and on Windows, open up a command prompt. Click on Start and type in the letters CMD to open it up.
In the command prompt, type in tracert "server IP address" (without the quotes) and let 'er rip.
This is what mine just spit out:
As you can see, there's two spots between me and the lobby server that have dropped packets. One is just outside the data center, which I imagine is slammed with traffic - and granted, trace route packet pings are lowest priority and many nodes will just reject them, but the node "snjsca04" also dropped a packet and it's not anywhere near the data center yet. From what we understand, all it takes is one of those heartbeat communications from the local client to the data center lobby failing too many times to generate 2002. That's a lot of potential points of failure. -

tracert or ping are not very reliable tools to measure packet loss. There are many servers which drop ICMP packets. In this case you will see "packet loss" even when it is not the case.

I just came back and found a class that I like to play so I'm planning on spending a lot of money on your game. Please fix the 2002 error so I stop getting booted and then have to join another 5k queue. This is crap. You could also increase the server capability or better yet, may open another server on Light and help balance the load. I'm not established in a FC I'll be happy to move and create my own FC if it means I can avoid this stupid queue nonsense.

The 2002 error with the server queue is because the queue is maxed. The issue isn't on the players side, it's server side. If you try to join the game and the server queue is at max capactity it's going to give you that error.

I am not defending Square for 2002 but really seriously, this is getting most silly. It is incredibly common when submitting any bug reports to be asked to eliminate any issue on the user end. This makes the process of diagnosis easier. It is not done to be rude.
If swapping routers and disabling anti virus appears to have worked for you it is highly likely you may have been experiencing issues on your end. Tis also most likely you will encounter 2002 again in future as this issue is not user exclusive.
In fact, lobby server issues are quite common for reasons most varied. I have had personal experience with such things when working on emulator software. I have explained many times on the forums about this.. and so wish these threads would remain on topic as they are amusing to read. If and this is biiiiiiig if Square reads anything here, technical dumps will be far more useful for them then passive aggressive insult slinging.
TL;DR
This is server side and can be client side issue. That is all. This has been stated by Square and from my own personal experience seems correct. -

I can verify this. Got out of work, arrived home at 19:30 EST. Logged into game at around 19:36, 4k queue. Got 2002 error at around 19:50. Requeued, lost my spot, back to 4.2k. Got 2002 disconnected again at 20:05. The game is kicking people every 15 mins as OP says.

on serious note. The maintenance did fix one of the causes of 2002 error that a lot people had problem with, but there are more then one thing that causes 2002 error and some of them is more difficult to resolve at the moment giving the state of the world right now.
