Im kind of hoping it will be more a case of finding her rather than simply rescuing her. I'm actually suspecting she walked into whatever situation she is in knowing she had to. I'm also incredibly disappointed that my tail covers that part of her outfit now. I put it on to check because I'd never notice how low the waistline is before, lol.
I still wish it was split up into separate pieces...I really wanted her boots. -

Honestly, they should have left her dead... I'm bored of her.
SE sould stick to thir descisions about killing off characters and introducing new ones therough HW. The Empress should have stayed dead and not all of the Scions should have survived, especially after they made such a big thing out of the end of ARR. Would have made a more convinceing story and allow for develoment of new and interesting NPCs.
Guess I'll have to be content with doing more fetch and carry quests for that blond, smug, whine factory. -

I kid, I kid. Kinda funny how people jump from "I'm bored of this character" strait so "so she should die". I'm bored on Minfilia too, most of the Scions too actually. Kill them all though? No. Just don't keep dragging the Scions into everything. Let us run off to Ala Mhigo while the Scions baby sit Eorzea from Mor Dhona, we can have a whole new cast of Ala Mhigan Resistance members to play around with, rather than having the Scions be there to solve everything for us.
Only character I have any dislike for at this point is Cid, I wish he'd take some lessons from his IV predecessor... That's mostly just because Nero became far more interesting by the end of Crystal Tower, and I'd much rather lug around an anti-hero like Nero for all my airship related plot-hacks, than boring old Cid. Nero got bleedin' character development, what character development has Cid seen? That applies to most of the main cast, actually, they're just good for goodness sake... They have no real depth... Characters like Ysayle and Estinien were much better... Sigh... -

To be fair Estinien isn't dead yet, we for sure or going to try and rescue him...also still sure Lahabrea is going to also still be alive and possess him AFTER we save him but hey, we saved Thancred from that!
Minfilia is meh to me but out of all the Scions she was the one most likely to stay alive (and the fact that Nanamo is such should have told everyone that none of the Scions were gonna stay gone as well). Its possible that 3.2 will see us liking her more...or it just might end up being more of them same.
Or she might go full Cie'th and we have to mercy kill her. Doubtful but I've seen theories. -

On a somewhat related note, I highly recommend changing to Japanese voice over if you're still playing with English voice acting. Minfilia, Y'shtola, and Kan-E-Senna all sound way more badass in Japanese. -

I think the whole point of the current Scion arc is to add depth to the Scions. That's why SE broke them out of their set roles. We have had a lot more backstory to Y'shtola, Tataru has shown a lot more independence and resourcefulness, Alphinaud has matured a lot, and though they haven't done much with Thancred yet, his loss will force him to adapt and grow.
Also Minfilia couldn't say dead because she didn't at any stage actually die. Running off into a tunnel, even one with hostiles, doesn't automatically = death. -

I... personally never found Minfilia all that great. Her personality is bland and she does little on-screen to help you. She's just a piece of eye candy that spouts exposition and is ostensibly helpful. (I'm not going to argue about her voice, since while 2.0 was pretty bad that's pretty easily blamed on the director and/or inexperience; she got a lot better over 2.x.)
That said, my reaction to her new outfit can be adequately summed up as such:
