I with you bro, I myself i'm not a fan of the whining and crying i see in alot of threads but..on the other side even those that are trying to stop the whining end up starting more...It would be nice if everyone got along but that won't happen as long as people always find the wrongs in other peoples statements

My statement was true. People are bored and as a result, try to create topics on minuscule subjects because they have nothin else to do. This isn't true?

What exactly was wrong with the ability effects in 1.0 anyway? I am not aware there was a huge criticism about this that led to them becoming more flashy in 2.0.

The OP completely exaggerated the animations in the video. Nothing I have seen took up the whole screen, or blinded me with flashing lights. Frankly there wasn't a single skill I saw that even took up the whole ENEMY. It seems to me the only thing you have a legitimate complaint about is the frequency of the skills, but as that is a built in part of the new system you can kick and scream all you want but it's not going to change.

If ANYTHING, the animations (especially the magic animations) are incredibly underwhelming. The movements haven't even changed since 1.0 for lancer, it's still the same whirl/thrust generic animation, the only thing they changed was the effects that follow. Frankly, even the jump move is exactly the same as doomspike animation.

It's absolutely ridiculous that you can complain about even the particle effects to be honest. They're not bright and shiny, they barely even glow on most of the skills and 1/2 of them are just small, radiating circles around the mob.

If you think what you saw on that video was "Flashy abilities" you CLEARLY have never played a korean mmo. These animations are not anything overwhelming or unreasonable.

The lancer lets out a yellow aura whenever a WS is used, and that doesn't even last half a second. The spiral thingy I already mentioned is the mobs move... so... I'm confused.. :confused:

I think SE wanted to add more life to the effects, which in turn made them more flashy, you can't remake something perfect the first time and I think it will get better in time

I guess I should have spelled it out for you, but your response to Alerith was because I said you were bored and tried to diminish your criticism but that was not true because I did not say you were bored before you labeled me as part of your little cool "SE Defense Force" claim. :/
