I think it’s a good idea. Maybe it would signal to people more clearly ‘hey you can use this now’. Then again, with the lack of direction you’re given unless you keep up to date with patch notes (idk how common that is lol), it’s not surprising a lot people never noticed they’re even an option now
+1 for implementing a "use phoenix down in solo instance" to act as a tutorial
I didn't know Downs had become so widely used, that's good to know. It could be like a potion where you could craft them, but that wouldn't fix the problem really of people not knowing what to do with them. They may not make changes because it 'gets people to do deep dungeons' more maybe, but I'm not sure if that's a good argument (I don't think it is myself). I feel like if they really want people doing that content more, they could add more rewards and make it more evergreen, maybe bring more attention and make 'seasons' or something you can earn currency for, like PvP. Could apply to all deep dungeons. (I know you can just buy them on the vendor ofc, I just have seen floated that it's expensive or something).
Anyway I'm getting ahead of myself, those ideas are a bit irrelevant. I support the ideas of adding them to more content like regular dungeons either way, I just had no idea Downs were so necessary, that's good to know and interesting!
I believe some of the tank quests have a solo instance where you cannot complete it without using "Interrupt". It could be added in MSQ at both low and high level? Just spitballing but there's plenty of "do mechanic or fail" solo instances. It's easy to add in hall of the novice, and for higher level maybe one of the ones where you play with an NPC's kit.
I really appreciate that they can stack now, though. I run Deep Dungeons a lot and sometimes we mess up and having the extra rez is really nice. Other than that, yeah. Needing to stand still for a long while and being unable to get hit means they often still don't help.
