Premades should get a potency reduction per player in frontlines

Matchmaking ratings like we already have in casual CC should definitely be a thing.
And SE should perhaps try and balance their stupid role actions for once, some are literally being abused to the bone by optimized groups.

I'd like this before silly blanket premade group nerfs that lead to nothing good.

That's what the matchmaking already does in casual in a soft way. It tries to balance out the amount of melees and supports in both sides. But that wouldn't work in a mode where you can change roles anyway.

I just personally would make the daily FL roulette only available as a solo queue. No parties allowed and then let the teams be randomly formed for that one time match. And you can only sign up for daily FL once. After that, you can only sign up under casual or ranked match. I know people wanna play with friends and have that awesome advantage for an easy daily roulette win, but I think a solo sign up would at least give everyone a more level playing field. Working together with random people. I think people can at least handle one round of FL a day as a random with randoms. As for casual and ranking matches.... party up all you want. This way no one gets penalties or nerfed. And as for those that join the daily FL and just stand in random spots for a min at a time doing nothing for the free bonus exp.... they should nerf the idle time down to 15 or so seconds and then send a warning to player that in like 10-15 seconds they will be kicked from match and cannot sign up till next day reset time. I see too often players standing in pairs using dance emotes and not doing anything. And if offense is repeated, the banned from FL will keep increasing from one day to one week, then a month, and so on. I think that doing stuff like this will not only level out the playing field a bit, but will also force players to at least try and participate in activity they signed up for. We all want exp to level classes and such. But at least put in the effort too.

So… you want FL to only be playable once a day? That is a crazy take.

Would personally prefer to have only one FL game in roulettes per week (and only getting job XP once per week), no matter the result (win or loss) than having a lot of people who don't even bother reading the instructions of the modes (the bare minimum asked, or at least ask when off-duty), but spam FL for exp and don't even try to do more than a marathon presence in-duty.

Would even prefer to have less people queueing for Frontline and longer wait times than likely higher chances to get unbalanced games. In my opinion, winning and losing become optional when strongly unbalanced games just spoil all the fun (it is also the case, when your team is overwhelmingly dominating wuthout any tentative of resistance)

We went from no freelancer 8man premades to freelancer 8man premades, to freelander 4man premades. And still too much for some? When frontline are no longer 24man but only exist as 72man content.
Forced roles made sense when roles had meaning. Now tanks and healer are all damage dealer too and vice versa.

I like that they did frontline specific personal skills.
I would like if they add another that is an aoe support skill.
Also would have opted for a commander-system who gets voted at the start of the match (if too many abstain/decline, no commander for any alliance), having a powerful additional duty action that can be used once per match, like a LB3 that also buffs players around you. Besides exclusive access to marker tools, to lead and indicate where he is easier, maybe a bigger character model too temporarily (we have growth mechanics in PvE too). Defeating a commander would net the enemy team 100 points once.

Premades shouldn't be punished. If anything get your own premades too. I don't think they matter too much. Players who are unwilling to play PvP have more influence on the match than the amount of good players in a premade. That is why I never liked the excessive EXP for frontline PvP, because it attracts people who will afk for it.
It should be allowed to afk kick after 1 min in frontline.

If it was a replay to my message, you misunderstand..... Im talking about the 1 daily FL roulette where you get bonus exp for whatever it is you're trying to level up and exp you get in malmstone series. Signing up just for that should be solo only. You can sign up for FL casual and ranked as many times as you want and can be done in a premade group all you want. But as for just the FL daily roulette bonus that you get once per day..... that should be a solo sign up only. Im sure you can do just one FL without your buddies for 10 min or so. After just that one, sign up with your friends for the rest of the day all you want under casual or ranked.... not daily roulette. You get all these ranked FL teams that sign up for the roulette over and over and over all day everyday and it screws those that sign up solo once daily. So the premade teams that have done the daily roulette 150 times for that day still win the match and the ones that signed up solo for the first time get screwed out of a possible win and 3000exp compared to a 1000exp bonus 3rd place.... The premade silver platter winners get normal exp for their win and the solo only gets 1000exp (bonus mind you) from signing up solo. Thats what Im talking about.

Id say kick and banned for the day after 10 seconds of idle time.... get rid of those crap players that just want free exp and stuff without having to work for it. I admit that I really suck at pvp, but at the same time I always have and will always try to do my best when I participate. I may complain on certain things like nins and sams being wayyyyy tooo overpowered when it comes to being able to kill infinite players with one limit break with swords and daggers and I can only take 3/4 health of one player with a bullet with my lb as a mch. But the whole players standing idle doing nothing for free bonuses with exp is so much more annoying and should be ban worthy. And after a day ban, it increases everytime you're banned. 1 day, 1 week, then 1 month, and even 1 year, etc.

People may disagree with me. I get it. But at the same time we all pay the same sub and everything. If you're gonna delve into different aspects.... then participate in it. No if ands or buts.

A 10-second idle-time ban/kick would be unrealistic and unfair. Sometimes I have to readjust my chair or mouse+keyboard+mousepad (to be more comfortable) for more than 10 seconds in-game, think about the best next action for longer (or judging whether the team’s current play seems worth it, or which split group I should follow), or simply drink something midgame.

I think it would be better to filter out players who don’t want to make any effort during the matchmaking process (using some kind of ratio accounting for played jobs + occupation time + kills + assists + damage dealt + healing done + ratio idle time/active time/damage taken over the previous games, to distribute these players more evenly across teams, and make games less unbalanced if their queueing is unavoidable).

You don’t need to be a good PvP player (I’m a bad PvP player myself), but like when queueing for PvE content, you can at least try harder in terms of motivation. If you can’t get kills, try to get assists, and think more about how you can contribute more intelligently (test/check or at least read your abilities, traps, positioning, jumps, being more careful with targeting, checking your map to see if mass-stacking on a node is really necessary, pay more attention to your past games to better feel when an objective will likely be an avoidable sandwich trap… anything!). Nobody has the right to complain if you're really trying to do your best to better contribute.


That’s also why it might be useful to reduce the EXP and bonus gains profitablity from FL, either by heavily reducing them or adding a weekly reset. I’d even accept removing the bonus gains/EXP from FL roulettes and regular queues, since I wouldn’t mind going for days without a single FL queue pop if it meant fewer un-fun, avoidably unbalanced games.
