Did tanks really need more healing

Tanks got even more sustain they do not need, DPS got their reactionary healing buffed. Healers got even more heal buttons they won't use. All is well. /s
As an aside. Got Dead Ends with DRK tank in a roulette yesterday. That was one of the few times, where i enjoyed healing a while, where i legit used most of my healing buttons. Like that's how dungeons should be.
Instead you get WARs who just invalidate your whole kit and in DT WARs are going to do it even more.

My healers liked it when raiding endgame content.
They liked how reliable my healing were, how I could support them in case of high damages, how even if they made a blunder I could try to help them.

No one screams at me for DPSing.
I scream at no one for mitigating.
Why should healing be different?

So functionally your healers appreciate the ability to be lazy because you are doing your job for you

There is no “equitable assistance” in optimal tank mitigation doing the healers job for them. Of course the healer is going to prefer the tank use a free oGCD compared to the healer using a GCD heal, that doesn’t mean it should have ever been designed that way because there is no balance

Even now you're still one of the few that gets it. In endgame content, it's quite handy to have good heals when things actually hurt, and even in lower content, just means less stress and more of the power fantasy as a Warrior. Nobody really tends to understand though when the whole party gets reduced to 1HP and has to heal back pretty quickly, sure I could do it for me...but kinda need help with the party which is just fine.

It's fine though, the one's screaming for nerfs will just have to continue to be disappointed~. I'd hope that healers can at least have more damage buttons though but that's for the Healer Roles.

This is why the whole “it reduces stress so it’s good” argument falls apart

PLD could get a level 110 skill that was AOE limitless hallowed ground and it would “reduce stress” at the end of the day there is some measure of stress that comes with playing a game

If you want a stress less experience that’s what animal crossing is for

Healers are already non-optimal for almost all dungeon content outside of the few boses that can rack up raidwide damage that outpaces NF/Intervention.
I also have a strong hunch that with the Shadow Wall Excog, Rampart Heal Buff and a longer Reprisal that even DRK and 3 dps will be possible and faster than a healer in the comp
