Volcanic Heart is a bad map

Every post you have ever posted on the pvp threads is "git gud". You give these terrible examples of how pvp methods and strategies are supposed to be used then fail to realize they have no actual use in the game where there is almost no ability to communicate to you teammates of these strategies. Your "just make sure to have guard and purify up" is useless when you need to use these abilities throughout the match or you will die. Stop living in this fantasy ideal of how you think matches will go and try living in the actual gameplay. This map sucks for ranged classes.

Okay, so you're in the top 30, right? Oh, wait. You're not even on the list at all, despite how easy it is to get there with a bit of effort.

Who are you, exactly, to tell *anyone* that they do or don't know how to play the game? I hate being this guy, but you're really forcing the issue here. Your position is entirely reliant on you being more knowledgeable and experienced than the people you are speaking to - so when you are not, it falls apart, because you aren't actually making an argument. You're relying on them just accepting your claims to authority, rather than your argument.

I'm someone calling you out on all the nonsense you post here. Derp git gud is your response to everything no matter the criticism. Am i in the top 30? No. I haven't put the time into it to get there. Does that exclude me from having an opinion on the mode, no. I've done enough Crystal Conflict to know that the map sucks for range and that your opinions have been mostly implausable when it comes to actual gameplay. And if having more experience is all that's required to be the authority please stay out of the Frontlines threads as i have more experience then you so by your standards your opinion is irrelevant.

Except you're wrong. VH doesn't suck for range. C9 doesn't suck for melee. Both maps are completely fine for all classes and roles and players. There are specific areas in each map in which some roles are unfavored, but the maps as a whole do not favor one over the other. You can *dislike* the maps, and that's fair because it's just a matter of opinion (I find Palaistra boring because it lacks anything interesting going on), but it's flatly incorrect to say that VH favors melee or that C9 favors ranged.

If you had the skill and knowledge to support your position, you wouldn't make that position because it's one you would know to be false. That's my point. That's the corner you're trying to force this into. It's okay to be wrong, but you need to be willing to admit that you are wrong sometimes.

Instead something like "I am having trouble as range and I think there is issue with map design of Volcano", you choose to put yourself on highest ground and claiming map is bad design with no evidence

You need to read more carefully, I think. "Ranged are bad at VH" is a fact - or, well, it's incorrect but it's being presented as a fact. "I don't like VH" is an opinion. You cannot disprove an opinion, seeing as how they are all inherently subjective. But you can disprove something like "ranged are disadvantaged on VH."

Or do you think having a weakness at one specific area of a map means you're weak at the entire map? If so, then that's really just a matter of you not understanding the game well enough, and not being good enough at it, to know what a foolish assertion that is to make.

It's a bad map to play rank on. That said, if I want to have an easy time climbing playing a range class I would rather grind the volcanic map. That's just me though. Everyine has their own opinions.

Truth be told I am having a hard time understanding why range is supposedly in a disadvantage on that map. They have multiple pillars to use for LOSing opponents making it easier to avoid damage. I'm curious to see what exactly am I missing since I still havent hit Crystal.

How can you say a map is fine for all roles and then follow it with saying parts of the map are unfavorable for certain roles. Those two things are completely contradictory.

Melee spend there time up close to their targets and don't have to deal with line of sight issues generally. Having enemies run around pillars when you are trying to use actions that require cast times gives enemies much more time to run around corners which forces you to try and stay closer or change targets which can be a real problem. As a person who plays bard getting closer to enemies lowers my damage from my main attack from 6000 to as low as 4000 which is quite a bit.
