lol nop my husband i just had a brain to save up and plan ahead and we are looking for what we need not the most fancy place in the world but something we can make our own with time regardless still a house and its not the most over the top 6 bed room 3 bath nonsense its just a small 3 bed 2 bath all we need

and in virgina so maybe its like 250k so its not cheapest but its not an over a top thing + u can get finacing and loans with a certain % down payment

You think that people trying for a house because under the old system they might not be able to, is a bad thing? I thoroughly disagree with this point of view. The Lottery now gives EVERYONE who wants a house, a glimmer of hope and opportunity. Not just for a few who have all the right conditions set. As I said before though, to FIX housing, more houses have to be made available. MUCH more.

Addendum: I think I might owe you an apology here. On further consideration of your post, I realize I misinterpreted your words. Actually, you are correct. This does not fix the system but it DOES make it fair. In a sense, you could consider this to be a partial fix.

It won't fix anything, and will probably be worse in the long run. Maybe a couple people will get lucky though. Those people should like the system.

Yeah the key is to have all your money sorted before you purchase and a lawyer. Banks will set everything up and then they just need a quick check and off to the lawyers. You can literally find a house and close within five business days. While financing 90% of it.

I am not sure why this hasn't happened yet. But I would think more 19.99 a month. Or some sort of tier. I Know more then a few people who wouldn't even blink if they could get an x large with a monthly sub. And SE already knows we are suckers we pay for MB and inventory.

I dunno. The way I see it:

Current system = 0.5% of me getting a house plot + potentially 60 hours of waiting or longer before I give up without being able to do anything else.
Upcoming system = 0.5% of me getting a house plot + potentially 60 hours of waiting or longer before I give up while being able to do something else.

If I'd like to hazard a guess and be 'that person', I'd think that whoever likes the current system already owns a housing plot lol.

I never ran any script to get my houses, stop justifying cheating. Things wouldnt have been as bad without all the people running auto clickers either.
Nothing will truly be solved unless they invest in getting a vastly larger amount of housing available to players. And with how housing is shown as a feature of the game I say they should have done so ages ago instead of leaving it in this state for years.

They really should just boot everyone out of their home and refund cost and just overhaul this entire housing system truely. Unless they plan on either improving apartments or slapping an ungodly amount of wards, this shit is going to continue to pile up...

250k for a house is probably among the cheapest markets in the US at the moment. It's 3-4x that where I'm living at the moment.

30%ish more where my parents just moved to, and they are in Georgia.

In my experience, there are usually 50-100 at a small and upwards of 200 at a medium or large on my server. Those are not good odds. What makes this "better" is that instead of giving up 6-12 hours of your day and in all likelihood getting nothing, you can spend those 6-12 hours doing what you want and in all likelihood get nothing.

One might say, "but the odds are much lower with lottery!" I'd totally agree with that. However, the odds are so low to begin with that it doesn't really matter. Consider that the average player that plays jumbo cactpot weekly has not won the jumbo cactpot. These days, we have a roughly 1 in 3333 chance of winning jumbo cactpot on any given week. Back in the day, we only got 1 ticket per week for a 1 in 10000 chance of winning. By essentially dropping the odds 3 fold (3 tickets instead of 1), the majority of the playerbase has still not won the jumbo.

In other words, when the odds are so low and it is something that you only really get 1 crack at... it doesn't really matter if it is 1/50 or in 1/10000.

maybe but take a look at zillow some time many of this houses range from 125k-300k in decent areas yes there are so hugely inflanted ones but there are 100s of them below 300k that are decent to amazing
