There should be no penalty for leaving a bad party after 15 minutes.

Maybe. But you dont need a parser, official or otherwise, to recognize a 0 DPS Healer that isnt even keeping up on heals. Such a player will attract attention to themself just through normal play, and naturally be revealed as a hindrance to clearing anything even slightly difficult.

With that all said, the system itself is fine. If we take this scenario at face value. Thirty minutes isn't long at all. I am actually aware of their history. I have argued against them in several threads over the last year or so. Thats why i was ultimately only 12.5% willing to give benefit of the doubt. Its possible for a "troublesome" player to also end up paired with jerks that make things worse. The best of healers can struggle if the group is bad enough. The fight is still new. You know, all the standard stuff. But yeah, the penalty is fine. And if the group was really as bad as we're led to believe, the time to cool down might have been needed to avoid going into the next run tilted anyway.

"I don't mean my judgment to be taken as judgmental" People judge all the time, trying to lamely nullify it doesn't change it.

This could be construed as "calling out" and is usually considered a bad thing.

I also recommend people who don't want this to happen to have themselves hidden on that site.

Calling people out for consistently poor performance, which actively holds back 3-7 other people shouldn't be considered a bad thing. The attitude that you don't need to know how to press your buttons effectively because ???? is ridiculous. While hiding your character on that site will stop people seeing if you are consistently performing poorly, some people see being hidden an even bigger red flag.

You do realize that won't help with clearing duties though, right? And a zero dps healer will be noticed, especially in extremes and savages. In normals it should not be that bad since they don't have enrages, though it'll likely still be called out in the duty.

I point it out because it's something that can get you banned on the forum.

Also I raided hardcore for years and then I realised it had nothing to do with the game. RPGs are not sports, they are interactive literature. The literature that forms the basis for this genre is not about performance but about who is willing undertake the journey. In your world Pippin and Gandalf would have never been in the same party. I'm glad SE understands this by keeping story content and adrenaline junky content separate. Be gone casual.

The story content of the game is great, and I really wish people could experience it all without ever playing with other people. As soon as you need to complete content with other people, there is a level of competence that is expected of people. You're expected to know to not stand in AoEs. You're expected to press a button each GCD. Healers at the very least, if they aren't comfortable using every free GCD to do damage, put up their DoT. It's a team effort to clear content, and you're expected to contribute. The content you need to clear to get the story isn't difficult, but one or two players that are being carried is very noticeable and can be frustrating.

I do this and take the 30 min penalty sometimes. If you get an Eden raid or a nier raid or even a khloe book raid it’s often way more beneficial than doing what the roulette gives you. If I know I can spare 30 mins on reset I’ll queue alliance raid and bail if it isn’t puppets.

I don’t feel too bad about it because we only get Sycrus tower because a bunch of 80s queue naked.

Not a blacklist site as such, but there's a site which records Final Fantasy XIV combat logs submitted by players and provides statistics based on them. Players can use it to check if someone is lacking in skill or just having a bad day.

To be fair, you don't need a parser to notice someone wearing low ilvl gear, or ice mages, or red mages hardcasting verthunder/veraero, or tanks not using their defensive skills (or use all of them at the same time just to have nothing later), and other similar stuff
