Except it's not 'an intellectual solution.' It's shortsighted because it ignores the fact that people in smalls want to upgrade to mediums and larges that aren't opening due to auto demo being off. Let me repeat myself.

Again, whether people relocated or not, 720 new players and FCs got housing, because each relocator left behind a plot in their old ward. No one relocating took anything away from a first time buyer except for a more ideal location - which is the exact intent behind relocation.

Temporary rules are still rules that are in effect until they are revoked. SE has not announced the rules have been revoked.

Game systems have flaws in programming that allow player exploits on a frequent basis. Most of these FC houses in question weren't inherited due to a normal change of FC leadership - they were purchased with shell FC then the other members (only added for purpose of creating the FC and acquiring the property) removed, or the FC was purchased for the purpose of acquiring the house and not running an actual FC.

There's a difference between ToS and rules of the game. The ToS covers situations where SE may choose to revoke a player's service license either temporarily or permanently. It doesn't cover everything that players are or are not allowed to do within the game.

Again, that image you continually repost doesn't prove anything.

Maybe it's asking to much but maybe people should be more selfless and think that some players would be happy with any houses because they don't have none. Some should share so others can have something too. It would make a better community. But i know, human beings. Sadly.

Again, relocators didn't take houses from first timers.

The new wards brought 720 new houses. If 400 people relocate, that leaves 320 houses in new wards, and 400 in old wards. 400+320 = 720, so no houses are consumed by relocating.

If anything, relocations increase access to housing for new players. 72 of the 720 new houses are larges, costing 40-50 million gil each. It is unlikely that a first-time home buyer has 50 million gil available. So changing these 72 open larges into 72 more open smalls actually helps first-time buyers.

This doesn't mean much to someone who can't get a house because of the placard timer. I don't agree with suspending relocation but I understand the problem it presents to first time buyers who aim to buy in new wards so they can avoid the placard timer.

Fact remains there are no rules against owning multiple FC houses or what constitutes running an actual FC.

You keep insisting it's against the rules when we have GMs stating it is not. I rather take the word of GMs.

Neither is multiple FC house ownership stated in the TOS. SE clearly states RMT/ 3rd party tools as against TOS.

SE clearly addresses other unintended housing issues as with the case of the house which went missing recently.

You'd think by now given the number of years SE has been aware of this issue, if SE were really against multiple FC house ownership, SE would have stated it and taken action. Especially when you have ward owners reporting themselves to the GM.

Insisting it's against the rules because you wish it to be so does not prove anything.

Timers should be suspended when new wards are released so they don't put an extra burden on the community. That could be just for the day of the initial release given on most servers they are all sold out within the first hour. Relocation is one of the better features in my opinion and the relocation doesn't come free given the return on the initial purchase doesn't amount to a whole lot.

That's actually a good suggestion but I do worry if shell fcs would also take advantage of this. Though I suppose they would be hampered severely by the crazy amount of competition that happens when new wards are released. Anyway it's not really possible to present a flawless solution when you're dealing with a system as flawed as the wards. I think more good than bad would happen with your suggestion.

The new wards were released with no timers.

Unless what you're suggesting is that the timer just not take effect on patch day, meaning that any abandoned house could be purchased instantly for the duration of the day. This would likely cause an increase in second hand sellers, since people could claim a house, then demand a ransom to release it so a first timer purchaser could take it over. This practice was commonplace before the timer was patched in.

placard timing, at least 5 hours is long enough for us, players who really play this game !! We have real life out there, please short our time in front of the placard, because we not be there all the time, and will only give the "housing mafia" BOT a chance to win !!

SE can place timer when are we can start to wait for that !! tell us from that placard, one day after that when plot are start open to sell.. and we just wait between 5 hour..

or SE can make that more fun like "jumbo cactpot golden saucer" system !! yeah !! we jus only wait time end and show who win for that housing plot while we can doing our daly roulette ^^
