Don't lie, we've all run each individual dungeon in the entire game 1000 times already, no one wants to take their time in these when dungeons are largely a grind. You run it first time, It's a cool experience, just about every other reason you'd ever come back after that means you're grinding something which yes includes roulettes
As healer, it's not always efficiency that is your biggest concern, but rather boredom. It already tends to get kind of boring to be spamming 1 dps all the time and getting everything done without GCD's (most content nowadays). It's even worse when you barely even have to use oGCD's. Maybe people should keep in mind and have respect for the fact that when there's no healing needs, healers have literally nothing else to do beside spamming 1 dps button. They don't have an engaging dps rotation like tanks and dps.
I main a healer. I'm not going to pretend single pack pulls are interesting for me because usually they're not.
But I let the tank set the pace they're comfortable with. I sometimes tell them they can pull more if they want to. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. I don't force them to do something they may not want to do. I'd prefer to not stress out another player just to satisfy my own entertainment, because I think it's pretty selfish to do that.
When I really want to have multi-pack pulls I queue with a tank I know.
You are ignoring a very specific part of everything. The human behind the game. Like, I hate slow dungeon runs as much as the next person, but I'm not going to be a jerk and pull mobs to the tank.
If they aren't comfortable pulling more, or aren't up to it, or whatever the reason is? That doesn't give you the right to pull ahead just because you are bored. Either go tank yourself, leave those instances, or find a friend to tank for you.
I don't argue with that actually. I go from wall to wall in 9 runs out of 10 anyway, it's not like I will purposely make run slow without a reason. It's just that the whole word "effiency" makes me instantly sick. I hear it 8 hours per day, 5 days per week at work where it pressured on you every second like a mountain. The game is the last place where I want to hear about effiency as if I'm at work again after just finishing my work. Sometimes you just want relax.
Yeah. Hovewer... my reaction was to a specific comment where you talk about effiency, effiency, efiency, effiency.
I didn’t ignore it. Your argument is that what you are doing is merely increasing efficiency and you are asking why people are getting offended by it.
My response is that it doesn’t matter what you are doing for the sake of efficiency. Few individuals appreciate unsolicited assistance. Your intent is irrelevant. The response to your actions will most often be negative.
Like I've said. Tank doesn't need to adjust their gameplay in any way when there's no wipe risk and it wouldn't be a problem if I keep enmity as healer while I get the mobs to the tank. So isn't it more selfish of the tank then to see this act as rude? Again, they don't have to adjust their gameplay, they can act like those mobs don't exist.
Seriously though, with your reasoning, why isn't the tank considered selfish when they pull small even though they barely take damage? I don't think they're selfish in that case but they also shouldn't think I'm selfish when I'm prepulling mobs without risking anything at all.
