And when the rest aren't satisfied from this action, do they make another group of paying customers unhappy to appease them? It's not good business sense to upset your content customers to appease the angry ones, as you'll just end up with a larger group of angry customers.

I wasn't trolling. If I had complaints about the rest of your argument (like the fact that gardens are a housing thing, not just an FC housing thing, so therefore they also can be found elsewhere in the game), then I would have said so. I just wanted to point out something you missed, especially since it's a very important piece of furniture for me.

I really wonder at times how people can make these blanket statements and be completely blind to how the housing issue is well beyond SE playing house and punishing kids for being bad.

I feel like "the rest" in this instance is really just this small vocal minority here on the forums; the reaction to the current housing situation almost everywhere else is just overwhelmingly positive. It smacks of "I want a large and I want less competition, so screw the other guys".

There is no numerical argument you make where SE isn't coming out ahead because the number of players SE pleases outweighs the number of players they make mad.

Actually no, most have just given up because there's a disproportionate number of slum lords tying up a housing lots in the older sections that needs to be addressed.

Otherwise we are going to continue to see more videos like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znbBHGzjSB0 and continue to see these because the entire system doesn't have sane restrictions in place.

It's not numerical, it's psychological. Rewarding anger doesn't make it go away, it amplifies it.

The "slum lords" can only reach so far. And the example video is no different than the myriad of posts made on day zero. There will always be dissatisfied people. smh

It is absolutely about everyone wanting a large and coming up with reasons to give themselves an advantage over the next guy for them.

I just took a look around Shirogane on Hyperion; of the larges, 66 are FC houses and 42 are personal houses, and there's currently 163 small lots open for purchase. That's just Shirogane, which is the most popular. There's a huge amount of houses available. There is zero reason to be yelling for SE to literally take people's houses away except that you want the medium/large someone else has. It's not about a handful of situations where a person or FC has a bunch of houses owned, it's about very specific lots that people feel they are more entitled to than someone else.

SE should have never allowed large houses to be used as personal houses to begin with. That was a mistake, SE should evict the players that are using the large houses as personal houses.

Likewise, there should be enough medium and large houses so the FCs aren't using the small houses - as those houses should be exclusively for players.
