Have you actually looked at the tooltip of the spell? What you are saying would make this spell worse than Aspected Helios, an AoE heal. I don't need to recheck my math because I know how to read a tooltip.

Sacred Soil is the weakest ability you have to spend aetherflow on. It's a waste.
Succor is incredibly expensive and only provides a 150 potency shield. That's one regen tick.
Adlo+Deployment tactics is really good.
Succor + Emergency Tactics is equal to a Medica. Except it costs more MP and relies on a cooldown, only 30 seconds, but still a cooldown.

Embrace is basically a HoT so I don't understand why this is supposed to be some unique Scholar healing utility. Heck, Physick is weaker than Cure I or Benefic I.

Excog is a mere 50 potency more than Lustrate, has a cooldown, and only triggers its healing on a condition. Fey Union is weak.

Overall Scholar is pretty undertuned.

ugh i hate using mobile on this .... but ignore that noct sect is 154 potency with noct 10% buff

people neglect that sch can boost there adoloquim with largress... fey illumination.... which is HUGE... se forgot to remove healing buff from fey ilpumination so sch have 40% heal buff

all i read from that is ur trying to play a whm because i listed ways u can prevent mechanics as a scholar since ur role is to reduce damage taken

You listed a bunch of mostly worthless or undertuned abilities. Adlo + Deployment Tactics is really good... and that's it.

as a scholar u really really need to get this solo healing idea out of ur minds to perform well as a scholar

the sooner you all realise your there to prevent raid dmg the sooner u all will realise sch is very strong at its role and that their kit is insanely strong compare to the other healers

but if u want to keep playing like a whm...and cry upon the forums your free to do so

scholar no longer plays like it did in heavenward... my partner have realise it and he loves scholar more then ever

you need to disband the whole whm/ast is main heal... sch is off heal idea because stormblood have killed off that idea

healers are now made to deal with mechanics base upon their role

the scholar is the king and reducing damage taken and mitigate the need for aoe healing so their partner only need to spend less gcd healing

that is what the scholar kit is for

I would imagine many more times. Considering they are a level 70 Astro and lack any grasp of what their spells and abilities do.
