The only requirement is attention-span... the first time I tried it, it was a huge mess of everyone trying to guess what happens next, but after a couple of wipes and kicking those " I-want-carry-DPS that NEVER EVER LISTEN TO ADVICE " it was so easy I was solo healing most of the time and even if some got hit off the platform raising and healing was straight forward, just need to pay attention...

And really, paying to clear this fight? why not unsubscribe and go donate your time to charity instead, rather than bitch and moan and demand everyone pay the price for your, lack of attention span.

Unfortunatly people will also quit if everything is braindead easy. The trick is striking a balance so things feel "somewhat" challenging but not impossible, which imo is what that fight is (also considering who it is... it should)

I have to say when you go in blind, that first run will be scary but we need to avoid the knee jerk reactions. I don't think it's THAT difficult and i've only done it once. wiped about 5x but we worked together to beat it. I was mind blown in several ways, but the biggest mindblown was how cooperative we were and sharing information on how to do mechanics.

There's something very rewarding when you have a party who is actively working together and you see them improve try after try.

I cleared it on the second pull of the first pug I found through duty finder. It's really not a difficult fight at all.

No please don't nerf this fight it is really fun. Yes I agree you can go runs with wipes but so what. The game needs these sort of challenges to help build people up for story raid, savage, primals etc. Seriously there has to be a point that the devs say look you are level 70 now.

I cleared it first try with 5 other new people. If you don't know where to go, follow someone that does. Use LB3 as soon as it pops, and if you can't make it to the edges for the divebomb just run towards him. 1 vulnerability up is better than being dead.

I get the feeling that the amount that would quit because they can't advance the story will far outweigh those that will quit because a single story mission was nerfed. People still have their extremes and the like, so it's not as if there's no other content that requires skill.

This on the other hand blocks further progression in the story for those less able. People constantly go on about "this is a story-driven game", and that is what many have said they play it for. Block casuals (less able/effort) this early on in an expansion and then people can't get upset when SE start using Mogstation to sell even more things to make up the shortfall, putting stuff up that should be in the game in the first place.

Not nerfing it isn't going to stop the sea of shitty players you meet who can't be bothered in normal expert roulette runs and the like.

What about you "git average"?
Not even gud, just average, okay, normal, acceptable level of competence. However you want to call it.

you got 2 expansion already, and you want it get nerfed because its too "hard" for your level ? i think you should go back to thousand maws of toto-rak and start over

Shinryu has the same 'problem' that A12N had. The mechanics, while easy, will straight up kill you if you ignore them or do them wrong. But more importantly, your healers actually have to be decent. And if tanks aren't mitigating or people are standing in bad constantly, more than decent.

Most of the "OMG THIS IS HARD" Complaints with normal mode content come from making the healer hit more than their 4 main buttons.
1.) Heal
2.) Heal Bigly
3.) Heal everyone
4.) Esuna

It took you literally 12 hours? Because I find that incredibly hard to believe.

My first time in, I spent less than an hour wiping nonstop before having to vote abandon, and then the next party I got put with managed to clear after 2-3 wipes.
