Is this the new Parradamo Tor, or what?
This game is horribly designed for jump puzzles. You have very little control over your character when you jump. Invisible hitboxes are everywhere. It is perfectly reasonable to hope that this is the last one SE does unless they actually make an effort to fix those two things. Otherwise it's just poorly implemented content.
It feels like SE saw that other games had jump puzzles and wanted to implement them without actually thinking about what makes jump puzzles successful in other games.
If that's what you think, then why not just ignore it? Why demand something that a lot of people enjoy never gets an update ever again?
The fact that some players are able to do the jump puzzle in under 1 minute after practicing is clear evidence that people have enough control over jumps to do this kind of content. Just watch some of the videos from that 1 channel among the many of people who are having fun with this 1 small side thing.
My FC mate and I just cleared it together, it took a bit of practice! But so satisfying!

Managed to get it after a couple of tries. I like that they're doing stuff like this but jumping in this game really isn't very good. The overabundance of invisible walls and invisible footholds also did it no favours. Hopefully they take more care with those things when designing the next ones. Jumping puzzles are one of my favorite things in GW2 but this was just a weak attempt comparatively. Like the FATE system.
I love this thing to bits and would love to see a lot more of these, they are so fun figureing out how to get to teh top
You literally have to jump on invisible hitboxes. That screams poorly designed.
I enjoy jump puzzles in games like GW2 and WildStar, but at least there you don't have to deal with crappy collision. Heck in WS you get double jump.
If a game dev wants to implement a feature, there's no reason to half-ass it.
I am the worst at jumping puzzles so making it to the top was a huge achievement to me and rekindled my interest in the sightseeing log as a whole. Strangely enough it is almost like an addiction and I am tempted to do it again when I have time for more screenshots.
