I call it Shitstorm because that's probably what it's going to be.
War will prolly keep fracture, or it will be consolidated into something else for war. Were ppl are saying fracture will prolly be removed is in the cross class sense, since for war as a main skill it is still "used" but as a cross class skill it is very niche and not as useful.
guessing tanks cc will look alot like this : Foresight, provoke, convalesence, awareness, bloodbath, mercy stroke(or not)
that would free up 4 skills from the pld, but then it seems a bit uneven for war.
I'm sorry I had to, the opportunity was perfect, XD
But onto the battle system stuff. I have to ask, I notice most people talking about abilities like Feint, Keen Flurry, Haymaker, and there is another Monk skill too I believe, One Ilm Punch, the "Esuna" one? But anyway, people are also talking about Fracture, which I get, kinda; it's a combo breaker, right? But what about the other skills that are similar to it, Mutilate, Phlebotomize, Touch of Death, and Scourge, Possibly Lead Shot from Machinist, because they have a pseudo combo system, but maybe not. Anyway, what makes Fracture worse then those 4 skill in regards to combo breaking?
they could, pull a goring blade with all of the dot moves, having them be a finisher and not a breaker. I always try to use them as openers though, but im a terrible dps
Well monk seems special since its use of forms makes it so that touch of death and fracture don't break its combo.
I'm guessing the issue with WAR is that breaking a combo means delaying the 5 stacks to need to use your special moves. If fracture added a stack of wrath then I think it'd be better.
Dragoons Plebotomize lasts for its entire rotation, dropping off just in time to put it up again ( at least in the level 50 rotation, I dunno about level 60.)
I do'nt know the other classes well enough to understand how they hurt the rotation.
im still hung up on the fact that you called it bloodstorm
I wonder what they'll do with monk?
It's even to the point that even npcs (devs) make fun of one ilm punch

Monks are also the only dps that don't have an enmity reduction skill
Yeah dunno, since it was announced i always think that Stormblood sounds weird and Bloodstorm would make more sense so I probably wrotte it wrong subconciously^^
No biggie, I do the same if I have the opportunity^^
I do not know enough about most of these classes to make proper assumptions, but I assume that every skill that is not used that often or in some way seems detrimental will be reworked.
One Ilme Punch for example will probably get a rework (don't think they will remove it).
I'm not sure how exactly they will go with the moves that lose viability during endgame as everything gets resistance like sleep and feints slow effect, but I would assume that they will change them to a degree.
