Not a metal bat, a nuclear powered rocket launcher. This IS Microsoft we're talking about and I'm someone who is heavily invested in the Microsoft ecosystem. They are the greediest of the 3 major console maker (MS, Sony, Nintendo). Indeed, they're greedier than the other 2 COMBINED.

To borrow a weapon from another game, a Fat Man with the MIRV mod attached. They would have to drop the Live requirement before Yoshida will even think about it.

Yes, indeed, it's currently an issue for Xbox. It has in fact been one of the problems in getting ffxiv on Xbox One from the start.

Not sure how you reckon that, any game patch or DLC that runs within the walled garden, or comes from an XBL server has been through MS QA and certifcation. You can choose to believe otherwise, but you'd be wrong.

Oh, and just to state the obvious any game on PS4 thst works within PSN requiring PS Plus have almost identical QA/testing/certification.
