I am a bard and I have 3 questions (exp roulette):
1. Is it ok, if I get aggro from 2-3 mobs because they have my dots, and I use dots+RoD spam rotation, not focusing on single target?
2. After that tanks begin to mark mobs. What they want me to do? Perform single target rotation?
3. If they mark mobs and want me to perform single target rotation, why they pull 2-3 packs of mobs then?
Should I be annoyed?

(I think one exception is if the the group wants to focus down something like the honeycomb wall trash skip in Arboretum.) Tanks should be using AoE threat moves and cycling through single target combos on every mob, so they are not supposed to lose hate.Quote:

I can understand why you would get annoyed, I get annoyed sometimes too. But these ocasions I try to help or give input if I see something wrong or someone not "performing how they should". If I don't get response, or no change, and/or rudeness, then I will be annoyed. But most of the times it's players who are still learning the job. Heck I even went back to dungeons to practice jobs I was levelling or had levelled earlier, just to try understand them. Also sometimes we take for granted that in HW content players would at least know the pre-50 things, but you don't see the person behind the character. Maybe they forgot how to play after a long break. You don't know if they have a puppy claiming attention, or if they are ill and/or in pain trying to get distraction with the game, or if it's a parent showing his child how pretty this game is. I get that some don't have time to run a 30 min dungeon for 15 min more than needed, but hey, and yes the old "it's only a game", it really is a game :/ Can't you really spend more time for another living being?
If they are jerks or bots then ofc, let's get annoyed, and I will be the first one to leave (no I don't force to be kicked, I am woman enough to go). -

You can be annoyed at whatever you want (and understandably so in some cases), but it's really not worth the raised blood pressure in the evenings. You'll be in and out fast enough that you probably won't remember it tomorrow.
I've gotten a few INT lancers and people who run in the opposite direction of what I'm pulling and grab their own mobs. In the second case I just wish the healer would have ignored them and let them die. -

This tells me that you think it's above you to ask for something straight off, and instead drop a hint during a clearly intense fight and expect people to not only do their job, but also listen to your comments, AND figure out what you want done. As a main PLD myself, I can count on my hands since heavensward where I actually ran out of TP in non-raid dungeons. Get your vane self appreciating attitude out of your gameplay and start letting people know what you need when you need it and MAYBE things will get better on some things.Quote:

12-10-2015, 01:54 AMjssanderson747Not a whole lot of value using any songs other than foe if you're a good bard (Excluding minuet I guess). I can't imagine any paladin can run out of tp in anything but boss fights. You could try tanking in sword oath in bosses, or you could try strength accessories, or you could try laying off fracture a little. There's a lot of things that could increase overall group damage that doesn't effect your tp. I only really run out of tp on pld when using fracture though, and that only really becomes problematic in the last 30% usually, so it tends to be irrelevant anyway.Quote:
