Shield Swipe is really bad and something of a trap if you dont understand it. Out of the buttons you could be hitting, there are very few situations where swipe is a good one to hit--just because it lights up doesnt mean its a good thing to smash (Unlike say, most other classes when something lights up, its generally a good thing).Quote:

Yes all tanks also have other cds that are more situational (Wars have reactive self healing, Darks have a very short cd high uptime parry and dodge enhancer, a reactive -10% damage taken via reprisal. Paladins have a number of largely, anti physical cds (keep in mind for every cd a paladin has, that is one less offense power or aoe they got ---paladins lack more than I think people tend to understand when it comes to offense choices).
30% 10 second uptime 1 minute cd vs 'all' ontop of a 20% and 30% you can alternate along side of it makes you better suited than anyone for tank busters no matter the damage type. Right now paladins are better suited for physical cause they can throw sheltron ontop of a cd--but when it comes to magic, darks are the clear victors already (dark mind + another cd, serving the same purpose). -

The game gives us bards and ninjas for a reason ^_^ If you are getting low, weave unmends into your rotation. Every unmend does 150 potency and gives you a full gcd of tp restore. -

Also what is it that people are burning their TP on? I tank a million times and I've never had TP issues except for that experimental phase where I CC'd Fracture for a bit. I havent raised my last two tanks up there at the moment but if there's some secret TP drain I have no clue what it is. -

I need to check it more thoroughly but in a few vigil runs I've pacified enemies while they're charging a big telegraphed AoE, the cast has finished and... nothing, no ability, no damage, they just go back to regular attacks. I'm not saying it's amazing but if it stops telegraphed attacks mid-cast just like stun but it doesn't stack the same resistance as stun then I think even as a niche ability it has some merit.
I'm not opposed to changing it a bit though, don't get me wrong, it's a bit too niche at the moment. oGCD could work. -
