As someone who has made millions of gil per day, selling runs. I can tell you the money is in the unlocked content.

The occasional locked content buyer sale might be more gil in 1 run, but the whale is the guy that buys 20 farm runs.

The trick is to be able to 7 man the fights before any other groups.

Are you kidding me OP ? That's the best news for fc communities in a long time.

And if your static is made up of people that won't bother with more than one kill per week to get their piece of loot and then are out... Seriously, change statics. Having a reason NOT to log in just for a couple of hours per week is tremendous news.

I think this is good that it is happening. Statics and people not showing up made me stop doing coil. Well, that and the fact that the gear gets outdated so fast lol.

It will be so much nicer to just be able to throw together a group with the FC and LS without having to worry about drama and such.

I think you didn't finish reading the part about the loot restrictions / lockouts. I personally like being able to reenter like final coil. I have been in 2 raid groups since t5, 1 more hardcore endgame oriented and the other a group of casual players with goals to clear for story progression. The 2nd group obviously progressing alot slower of course (t11). This in no way should affect statics, as you need a consistent group of players to have that teamwork, knowing each others limits and capabilities

I know, but that particular 5 star item cleaned me out. After I gave them the 600k and a 25k tip I had about 10k left in my retainer and a few k in my inventory for repair and port fees.

They did an amazing job on the craft but it was all I could do at the time lol.

That's fine and you and nice. ^^; In fact crafting itself is the fun for a crafter, that's why many crafters LFW.
I believe they love you, having a chance to craft rare item for free, and most important thing is no need worry no one want the product!

There is no official statement, that tell us this. Just players speculation.

In my eyes it would be wrong to do it this way. I did all coils before it gone DF, got echo and nerfs and I want enjoy the Alexander story like in coil before and not in the easy mode.

Not sure Coil was doable in the first days without a good load of i70 gear. It will be the same for Alexander. If you don't want to go in alexander normal mode, if you're not totally locked out because it's advertised as savage mode (T6-9 savage required normal mode completion), you'll need a hell lot more time just to meet the gear requirement than anyone else who will be getting 4 piece of gear a week starting 2 weeks in advance. Just saying.

The "savage" got announced to be like the regular no nerf, no echo coil and the other shall be meant for ppl that only want to see the story.

The i70 gear was gear we got through uncapped tomes. In Heavensward wo do also get new uncapped tomes (capped tomes come 4 weeks later) + the gear we can buy with them.
