ninja gears

It sounded clear as day to me.

Most DoW gear up to 50 is STR/DEX anyways, so that isn't an issue.

Gear from vendors and Coils, Striking gear is shared with NIN, adding DEX along with STR. When you get to 2.4 gear, then it will split up MNK and NIN and they will have their own gear sets.

So if you want to be ahead, get MNK(of course not AF) gear and probably DEX accessories if you want to get a head start once at 50.

If they've set the auto attack to scale off of Attack Power, which I believe BRD testing proves they have, then it won't.

Your main stat = ATK power which is where your damage will be coming from yes.

Idk why it took so many posts b4 this was posted lol it's so simple. And nin will share accessories with bard. So Nin will be having a half geared Brd by the time they get all accessories like monk has with Drg and vice versa. Seems nice to me.

It's actually been posted quite a number of times by various people. It was just washed over by all of the "NINJA WILL BE STR! HOW COULD YOU GUYS BE SO STUPID!?" posts. As I've personally said a few times before, SE will do whatever they want, so people should stop looking at the STR = Attack, DEX = Ranged Attack motif.

they didn't say this, from what i herd it seems that they will 'share with *punching moves* from gear up to 2.3"

and remember they did say black mage and white mage would 'share' and by that we have seen a shared design , but not stats

Does this mean we will need 15 pug as a prerequisite?

They might add something like Cleric stance and make STR count as DEX and make STR good for a different style of play. What that different style of play would be? Beats me.

yes in the live letter it was said to be monk you have to be lvl 30 rough and a level 15 *punch moves* but there cross class was first confirmed at Pugalist, so lvl 15 pug for ninja
