Actually, I'm not doing that whatsoever LOL That's the mentality 98% of XIV and you have. Only caring about yourself, not giving two shits about anyone else. It's sad that mmos have come to this.

Thing is, I'm not the one labeling the community. Go look through the forums, theres countless people saying how bad the community is here. Even outside the forums theres plenty more. It's not just a label, it's true. And again I'm not acting like I'm better than anyone.

Sucks for you, but at the end of the day he had just as much right to need it as you did.

What ya mean "ever get that gear he needed", if the OP puts in enough effort Relic is easy to obtain, the GC weapon will do for now and later on assuming he can beat all 3 extreme encounters there is an i90 primal weapon to be had.

The Ifrit weapons aren't that great anyway.

You know I don't care about itemprogression I'm basically playing this game for the coolest gear and glamours. That's what I like most about the game. I like coil but I don't like the people I get in group with when I search for it.
So yeah glamour is what the game is all about for me, so yeah I'm gonna need on anything that I know matches with my clothes, or maybe cause I have the other parts of the set. Or I would deffo need on garudas whm staff cause that's the only one I'm missing (and leviathan but I guess the people doing leviathan are the same as the coil people)

I find your arguments pretty immature thinking everyone plays the game for the same reason

Then why do you constantly devalue the time of another person just because he geared. He has spent the time to get that item, and deserves his roll. You are acting like your better since you feel like you can devalue somebodies time spent.

Tbh, you're devaluing the other guy by saying the relic drg pretty much deserved the spear he was never actually going to get any use out of

I'm not devaluing the other guy. I'm saying both can roll and the system decides. That is a fair way to distribute loot to multiple people who have invested time. Your way is "oh that guy is better geared. He obviously doesn't deserve to roll"

GC weapons do not work well for doing the primals, you know this. If you've actually played XIV, you'll know theres a mass amount of people out there who will kick him in a heartbeat because his "dps sucks".

I like the part where I farm dungeons for every single party of equipment for a set

I mean what else is there to do in this game? If I do dungeons everyday I will get the best gear(except coil) for free anyways. And what does it matter if I have ilvl 80 or ilvl 100, I'm still gonna run the same dungeons I have 200 times except this time I will heal for 200 more each cure making the dungeons eeeven easier. So yeah this game has a bad itemprogression system unless you're raiding, so collecting gear is what I find the most fun

People play games for all kinds of reason and Glamour is only one aspect of this game, yes people need on items for vanity reasons, who are you to tell anyone how they should play.

LOL, I have all classes at 50 and am probably further along in content than you so yea I think I have actually played XIV.
Don't get butthurt because nobody in here agrees with you.

Edit:- I have never been in a primal party where someone has been kicked for having a GC weapon, I think most intelligent people understand that the primals are a stepping stone in the gear up process anyway.
