An alternative to beating Titan HM is not beating Titan HM.
This is an MMORPG. Your level of progression is related to the time/effort you put into the game and your skill level.
If you don't have your relic because you don't have time to play the game and you don't have "the reflexes of a cheetah", this is working exactly as intended. You're not meant to have the things you didn't earn.

go back and do titan hm in 2.0 when u had to pre-dodge everything
got my first 4-5 relics then -

People who keep remarking how tanks have "nothing" to do in Titan HM either must be some pretty bad tanks, haven't actually tanked it, or have not experienced what most groups are like.
You still have to know the patterns just like everyone else should, even if you aren't dodging as many things, so that you know the best times to use your cooldowns, or you will get wrecked by MBs.
You have to know how/when to either dodge bombs or pop a CD and eat one, particularly post-heart when dodging bombs you shouldn't be will either end up with you taking two bombs or getting your group hit with RB.
Weight of the Land never pops under the tank? Yeah, if you try joining enough groups for this, I guarantee you eventually you'll get one that has 3 or more people dead post-heart, at which point you will have to start dodging those too.
Sure, maybe it's easier overall for them compared to other fights, but to say it's effortless for a tank just paints you as an inexperienced or bad tank tbh :< -

Has it been brought up that you can easily find groups that will merc it in the range of 100-200k? Sure that's not ideal but it's not the end of the world. I got my first relic when I had really odd hours and ended up doing this just because getting a good df group (pre-party finder) was turning out to be more effort than just mercing it. I did pay more than 200k but let's just say I paid about the value of 1 2-star item as it was going for at the time. I actually merc'd it after it unexpectedly sold really fast and just said hell with it, wasn't expecting that gil, don't need that gil, let's do this. -

And if this fight is making you think about quitting the game? Well then you are definitely going to rage quit sooner rather than later when you get to the harder content. There is no need for a company to nerf a game down for ppl who will just up and leave at the first sign of difficulty. -

Yeah even doing Garuda HM in df is often a nightmare. df is just a cesspool for anything past ifrit hm (and sometimes even that!)

Like others have also mentioned, this is a MMORPG, not RPG. Titan HM isn't just your other battles before it where you can faceroll a little - it's a jump in skill progression, and the first real test of team coordination. I don't think it's a battle where you can simply clear it with a random pick of people. It requires coordination among the 8 of you. Those DF or PUGs that worked, worked because the 8 players are seasoned and well known their jobs and stuff, but to get 7 of them playing with you in a DF/PUG would be rather rare.
Sorry but.. what's the reason for players who don't need relic to run Primal HMs at this point of time? Especially for strangers?Quote:

Relic is not a part of the main story. Back in 1.0 less than 5% of the player pool was able to get their relic before 2.0, why is this a problem?
